“A good stay despite ongoing construction work not reflected in the price charged by the hotel.”
+The location wis central and the breakfast was quite good. The gentleman in restaurant is very nice and polite.
−The hotel is undergoing major construction work. This was not mentioned in advance of our arrival. The price was much too high considering this situation.

“AC Sparkles!”
+This hotel is great. It's in a perfect location in Inverness. Our room overlooked the river, so we had a great view. The breakfast was very good. It offered a lot of choices. We had dinner there one night, which was also good. The staff was excellent - Ross and Rinna took great care of us.

−The white chairs are not a good idea. So many of them were stained and looked really sad.

“Need for improvement”
+We have been marriott members for 20+ years. Upon check-in, I reminded the receptionist of my requests posted on my marriott profile (high floor, away from elevator, quiet room). So we go up to the top floor and our room is right across from the elevator. Went back down to reception and they said that's all they had and the noise shouldn't be that bad. They also said my requests only go to the corporate marriott site and not individual hotels. We had just traveled from the W Marriott in Edinburgh where we were treated like royalty. Woke up the next morning to construction hammering right next door. It was Sunday so the construction noise would stop at noon. They offered to move us to a lower floor but we were Leaving the next day and didn't want to go through the hassle of packing and unpacking again. At this point, I was so frustrated I told them that it was my 70th birthday that day and we paid $500 US dollars a night. We paid the same at the W and there was no comparison to the service and breakfast! To soften the blow they sent up bday cake and a stuffed animal. We paid extra for breakfast which was mediocre at best. After we left I realized that I might have left my kindle in

“Schönes Hotel mit komfortablen Zimmern. Super Frühstücksbuffet. Nettes Servicepersonal.”
+Schöne, wenn auch etwas kleine Zimmer mit direktem Blick auf den Fluss "Ness". Modern und funktional guter Komfort. Schön gestaltete Bar / Frühstücksraum. Vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet. Service: Top, sehr freundlich, effiziente und rasche Abwicklung
−Einziger Kritikpunkt. Es stehen kaum Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Wir mussten auf ein Parkhaus in der Nähe ausweichen. Dort konnte man jedoch nur für 24 Stunden buchen. Da wir drei Übernachtungen gebucht hatten, mussten wir für das Parking den Wecker stellen und rechtzeitig die Buchung wieder um 24 Stunden verlängern. Das ist eine Zumutung. Hier sollte das Hotel eine bessere Lösung finden.

“Estupenda opción para quedarse en Inverness”
+Las instalaciones están muy bien, y el personal es extremadamente amable.
−El cuarto en el que me quedé tenía un andamio enfrente porque estaban haciendo reparaciones en la fachada., y el segundo día pusieron una gran manta que me impedía ver la vista!
