“Perfect place to experience the village life of Shenako”
+If you need only one reason to stay at this guesthouse it will definitely be the home cooked food which is available here. This place is a real homestay where you are living with the extended family. The accommodation is basic with a very comfortable bed , blankets that keep you warm at night, a very clean shared bathroom with a hot shower and a very nice common covered terrace. You can order food which is made with local ingredients , very tasty, huge amounts and everything served in the family's living room for a very reasonable price.
−There's currently a lot of building activities next to the house which restricts the usage of the covered terrace during daytime. This will of course change as soon as the additional building is complete.

“Authentic Georgian experience in a lovely guest house”
+I had a wonderful stay in this guest house. It was the best of my three accommodations in Tusheti and one of the highlights of my visit to the region. The host is an incredibly hospitable and kind woman, who does her outmost to ensure that her guests have a great stay. I will remember for a long time how we were sitting beside the fireplace, drinking Tushetian herbal tea and eating a delicious dinner consisting of her homemade Georgian dishes. Such special occasions warm up not only the body, but the soul as well. Highly recommended! I hiked through all the villages on the northern village track from Omalo to Chesho and liked Shenako and Dartlo the most. Shenako is a gorgeous town, while Omalo is not so special, so Shenako is a much better choice for booking accommodation. It takes just 1,5 hours to hike there on an easy trail from Omalo after you get dropped off at the end of the ride through the Abano Pass.
