+The staff were excellent. They would go above and beyond to help you.
−The banging of construction on both sides of the hotel. The hotel needs some love. A lot of things broke and issues with water, black water, toilet. But fixed very quickly. It should state on bookings . Com that the hotel has construction noise from 2 hotels being built next to them. It needs a little TLC. And it is a fair bit away from centre of Ubud. It should say this and reflect in the cost per night

“A peaceful oasis right in the middle of everything”
+Abipraya Ubud was a perfect oasis of quiet, less than 10mins walk from the centre of Ubud. The room was lovely, overlooking a little paddy field. It is a really beautiful setting, with the pool, breakfast area and little sitting nook by reception all surrounded by lush gardens, fish pools and tricking water - which adds to the peaceful ambience.

−The pool water had too much of something, Chloride maybe. It itched my skin. There is construction next door. And these new buildings will take away the view in the future.

+Central Ubud is very busy. Apipraya is very close to the Central Area but I found it very quiet and calm. The breakfast was good and included main, fruit salad, coffee and Juice. My room was large and included bedroom, sitting area, large bathroom, air conditioning, fridge, tea/coffee. I was expecting a balcony but understood from reviews before arrival that this is only included in suites and I had booked a room. I found the sitting area good. The hotel is very small there is an outside sitting area next to a nice fish pond and a small swimming pool (almost a plunge pool). I thought my 4 day stay was great value gifts what I got.
−The safe in the room didn't work but I felt the stuff I left in the room was secure and wasn't worried about this.

“Great hidden gem”
+Beautiful little spot, gorgeous rooms, very comfy beds
−Had a minor issue with the staff struggling to understand us a little bit. Once when we were trying to say no meat for our breakfast and the other when we checked out and they were asking us to pay for something we had already paid at check in and it took a bit of back and forth, someone on the phone and a receipt to explain we had already paid it.

+This was our second stay at Abipraya as we all loved it so much last time. The staff are so lovely, the breakfasts are beautiful and the rooms are clean and air conditioned. The bed is comfy and big enough to share with a child and not get kicked in the stomach all night. The garden and grounds are beautiful and exciting for kids to explore while you pack/unpack. The floors and bathroom facilities could use an update (things are a bit old and shabby) but for the price of the rooms and fantastic location it doesn't matter. Unfortunatly the pool was out of order while we stayed this time which was a shame - I'll be asking them next time to check the pool quality the week before our stay so that it's clean and ready for swimming :)
