“We will be back! Perfect blend of the beautiful wilderness but only an 8 minute drive to downtown Boulder.”
+Location , in a secluded peaceful canyon but only 4 miles from downtown Boulder. Close to hiking trails & bike paths. Great, comfortable rooms with frig, microwave. Sauna. Lovely wooded grounds. Very good value. Terrific draft beers in very cool main lodge with lots of outdoor seating.
−We loved all of it, but may not be the place for those looking for a more urban, walkable location.

“We like the property and will definitely be back!”
+We’ve stayed here many times. We really like the location in Boulder Canyon close to downtown Boulder and to trails we like. It’s also a great value in the Boulder area and allows dogs.
−My only complaints are sometimes, not always, the rooms smell a little funky at first.

+There was a variety of lodging options all at a great value and all quite comfortable. The staff were super friendly.
−Do not drink the water. They run on a well, which is fine, but I’m not convinced it’s potable. Just bring your own drinking water or buy some in the lobby.

“Perfect place to stay!”
+Very comfortable, great communication and excellent location! Short drive to everything you’d need in Boulder.
−The cell phone service had its moments, but you’re in the mountains.

“Big extremes nature and EDM”
+Beautiful setting. Near trails. Nice outdoor area.
−Extremely loud yoga session first night. After yoga they did EDM that included the word F...K. hardly appropriate for young people or people that come to nature not to hear loud EDM music with F words. 2nd night was great

“Perfect pet-friendly quiet getaway! We'll be back!”
+The King Suite was terrific - roomy, spotless, comfortable bed & couches, private outdoor patio, well equipped. We enjoyed being able to cook several meals in the kitchen or out on the large gas grill in the pavillion. (We did need to ask for a few kitchen items from the lobby - cutting board, extra bowls, but the staff was quick to supply all we needed.) It was also awesome to be able to bring our sweet pup along with us. The location feels remote & is quite (other than occasional road noise). It's green, shady, with lots to do - pool, sauna, hot tub, slack line area, fire pit, open grass area, lodge with beer/wine, supplies, upstairs & outdoors sitting areas, lots of chairs near the creek bed (no water flowing this time of year after a VERY dry prolonged season.) There are hiking trails nearby, and Boulder & the Pearl Street Mall is a 10-15 min drive away. The staff was great!
−There are a few plants on the property with large VERY sticky burrs that got into our dog's fur. Keep an eye out for these as there are a lot more along trails, roadsides in the area. There is also some poison ivy to watch out for in the area - especially along the river in the Boulder Canyon (didn't notice any on the property.
