“Great stay and I look forward to staying there again!”
+This is not my first stay here and as I become more familiar with the place that more I enjoy it! The location is great, being a very short walk from Hakodate station. The beds are comofortable and the facilities are great. The free food and refreshments in the lounge are also a wonderful addition.
−There aren't really many negatives about the place. It was an enjoyable stay and I look forward to staying there again. The only potential negative is that the male dormitorium is on the 7th floor so it is necessary to take the elevator up and down and the stairs are unavailable. But this is not a big problem as the elevator is usually very fast and available.

+Staff were pleasant, room was nice with comfortable beds, TV, couch, massage chair and bathroom (although this was a little small). Location was ideal.
−Effort has gone into the appearance of the place but it is a little rundown. Room lighting was quite harsh fluorescent lights. A bedside table lamp wouldn't go amiss.

“Great place”
+Location is perfect. The staff were very kind and helpful. The spa and bath are nice. The optional "healthy breakfast" is recommended. A good selection of Japanese/Hokkaido and Western fare. Free booze and somen noodles in the evening. I didn't need it, but there is a selection of different types of pillows, which is a huge thing that a lot of places need to get on.
−I recommend that they make efforts to locate in capsules that are not right across from the toilet/washroom entrance. Lots of early risers making noise. I noticed that that trend had started with the two further capsules unused. Just save the other closer ones until last to check-in (which maybe I was :( The coffee machine wasn't up the standard of the other food selections. Soda was fine.

“Brilliant spa and very close to Hakodate train station!”
+Facilities: the hotel has a spa.
−The capsules are small and the material they are made off is loud when accidentally hit with the elbow or head.
