“If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would.”
−This was by far one of the worst and most unprofessional hotel experiences I have ever had. I made my reservation through Booking.com, where it was clearly stated: “No prepayment needed , pay at the property.” It also stated that one night would be charged only in the event of a late cancellation or no-show. Despite this, the hotel charged me for one night before I had even arrived. I have a bank statement confirming the charge. When I arrived, the reception staff demanded payment of the full amount, claiming that the previously charged night would be refunded only after check-out. I politely asked them either to cancel the charge immediately or deduct it from the total amount. They refused and became extremely rude, aggressive and disrespectful. The receptionists repeatedly spoke about me in French in a highly inappropriate manner, assuming I could not understand them. Instead of resolving a straightforward payment issue professionally, the manager decided to cancel my entire stay because she “did not want me in her hotel.” Even worse, the hotel then falsely informed Booking.com that my reservation had been cancelled because they were unable to process my payment, despite the fact
