“Perfect for a short or longer break … views are fantastic.”
+Loved everything! We were very lucky with the weather so took full advantage of the walks right from the front door… the lodge was perfect for us … we loved the views from the sofas… so relaxing sitting watching the waves..you won’t be disappointed if you book this property.. we will absolutely be back again!😊

“A good quality caravan in good condition with good quality fixtures and fixings.”
+Both my wife and I have mobility issues and it should be noted that the steps up to the decking are steep. Pros: The fixtures, the soft furnishings and the fittings are of good quality, the main bed is medium firm and there are a lot of additional items that could be useful, eg. games, books and dvd's The bathroom, bedroom and living room cleaning was quite good. The ovens, hob and microwave were clean and superficially the kitchen looked clean.
−Inside of the kitchen area the attention to detail of the cleaning was lacking. eg. The cutlery looked as if it was clean but the cutlery drawer had a fat/greasy residue/coating that meant that we needed to clean the drawer itself and then everything inside of it, the cutlery, utensils and pans, needed to go through the dishwasher and we got sore throats as we had used forks when we arrived with KFC. Upon arrival the exterior of the coffee maker looked clean but the coffee maker was quite dirty with old mouldy coffee pellets inside the waste drawer and the freezer drawers and underside needed a clean to get rid of a brown residue. The smart TV's were at best erratic in their operation and one constantly needed a code but luckily we had our own Fire Stick with us which made at least one TV functional. Inside the main bedroom window side reading light bulb had failed, the ensuite door architrave had warped so the door did not close, and the outside decking needed cleaning. Overall: A good quality caravan in good condition with good quality fixtures and fixing. When we needed to contact the owners to find the WIFI Password and the bedroom TV code they were pleasant and helpful. Overal

“Wonderful place to stay with fantastic views.”
+Second time staying here. It’s a lovely place to spend a few days relaxing. The views are incredible and yes, we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of some dolphins this time around ! It’s an extremely comfortable chalet, which is exceedingly well equipped - the kitchen has everything you need and more. Great shower with plenty of hot water. Highly recommend.

“Perfect Short Stay”
+Excellent location, clean and comfortable although a little more attention to detail where cobwebs and dead insects in the window sills are concerned. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need including books, games and dvd's. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
−It took us a little while to locate the property as the site is rather big and it all looks the same so some directions would be helpful but other than that absolutely no complaints.

+Location (facing the sea!), very comfortable and it felt like home.
−Unfortunately the TV did not work properly hence we had a poor viewing of the Wimbledon Men’s tennis finals and England playing in the World Cup football!!

−Large TV in Livingroom needs replaced, really bad picture. Not great for watching World Cup games. Hubby really disappointed. Bedside light in Main bedroom not working, really inconvenient. A copy of Caravan Site map would have been helpful in order to find chalet.

“Fantastic stay”
+Absolutely beautiful caravan in a fabulous location. Views to the front over the water were stunning. We had great weather during our stay so were out and about every day, Sandy Bay is a great base to explore around the NE, so many brilliant places to visit close by. There were loads of games, books and DVDs available if we did have a lazy day, and loads of local guides to help us plan days out - really nice touch. The caravan was spotlessly clean and really well equipped for a comfortable stay.
−The TV in the living area had been damaged by previous guest which was a little frustrating for my football loving husband and son when they wanted to watch the world cup matches
