+Excellent. They made dosa which were really good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Provided accommodations for our van driver which was convenient.
−A long walk from the main street. Need vehicle to get to restaurants etc from the hotel.

+The staff were so kind and friendly, it was a great hotel. It felt like staying with family. They even arranged a great tuk tuk driver for us who took us everywhere. You can get to the main town for only 500 rupees.

“Friendly, clean as a whistle, and a beautiful view from the terrace”
+Friendly staff, clean rooms and a beautiful view from the breakfast terrace. Being just a little out of Ella (it’s only 5 mins in a tuk tuk) is actually a bonus given that Ella is a busy and happening place - you could enjoy the town but retreat to some peace and quiet.
−Only accepting cash is a bit frustrating but there are plenty of ATMs in town and money is money no matter what form you spend it in

“Happy Ella”
+The staff were amazing. Very kind and helpful. Our stay was smooth and everything went better than planned. Suresh and Ganga took care of us like a family member. The boys are excellent at caring and helping. We had a wonderful stay overall 😀. They also guide you with touristic spots to visit. What I like the most about them: they are not ripping you off because you are a foreigner!

+Excellent breakfast.
−The hotel restaurant wasn’t fully enclosed, which may have suited some people. Shower was on the cool side.
