+Our host, Chanuka, was very welcoming and accommodated us staying longer than expected whilst we planned our onwards journey. The views were fabulous.
−There was no water filter and the host only provided small plastic bottles of water, not very sustainable.

“Beautiful views”
+Really lovely room with a beautiful view across Kandy's lake. Clean and spacious, and a shared sitting room with another beautiful view. Good breakfasts available, and attentive hosts.
−Just beware that 36 B&B is quite far up the hill to the south of Kandy, which means you will need to take tuk tuks into town. Not an issue, especially with the Pick Me app, but good to know.

+The room was spacious, with high ceilings and a wonderful view of the Temple of the Tooth and the city. It’s located a little away from the city center, but you can get there in about 10 minutes by tuk-tuk. The homemade breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with the Wi-Fi, but it was resolved quickly. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

+Clean, big room, hotel has a good view, is quiet, away from the busy city center. Excellent local breakfast.
−Since it is uphill it is not that easy to walk to the city center and come back.

“Lovely B&B”
+Comfortable and well situated B&B, nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Kandy however all the main sights are only a short walk or tuktuk away. Staff very pleasant, views were lovely and breakfast was fantastic.
−Bathroom could have been a little cleaner but everything was functional.

“A Gem of a place”
+I so loved this accommodation and the helpfulness of Chounok. Probably absolutely wrong spelling. This place oozed comfort, cleanliness and charm. The view is outstanding. The room was cosy, clean comfortable and a pleasure to be in. The bathroom was perfect. It was also only a short walk down to the lake and also to the centre of town . Also there was a fantastic restaurant next door for evening meals.
