6.0+I like the location
−Bathrooms were incredibly small and there’s no hooks to even hang anything or put anything. Also we were in the Swain house. Which had a large flight of stairs. We are 68 and 70 and that should be something disclosed before a booking that a room on the second floor.

8.0“Very nice stay at this beautiful, historic ane well located property in the heart of Nantucket town.”
+breakfast was very good, liked the location and common areas. beautiful property and super comfy beds.
−crayons marks on wall in our room, door to bathroom would not stay shut, dresser for clothes was very wobbly and was difficult to use drawers.

8.0“Overall a comfortable stay, but would have liked a five star stay for approximately $1000 per night”
+Location, cleanliness, common rooms, and patio were great. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were nicely decorated. Bathrooms were spotless and had a great shower.
−Wish our room had been large enough to accommodate a chair. For the amount of money the hotel costs, it would have been nice to have more breakfast options. New water glasses each day would have helped since they were used for water, wine, etc. Location was quiet despite being located downtown but glad we wore earplugs since the noise from other rooms was noticeable. Lastly, we had to keep a prescription medication in a common fridge and the morning we were leaving someone took it. Extremely odd.

8.0“Happy with the stay, but don't stay on the first floor facing the street.”
+Great location. Great amenities. Great decoration and comfort.
−The rooms on the first floor facing the street are rooms in which it's difficult to get a good night's sleep. It is very noisy on the street very early in the morning with delivery trucks etc.
“First class experience!”
+Great experience, the staff is first class and the location was central to everything. Definitely coming back again!!
“Great location, room for improvement”
+The location was perfect; an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. We loved the complimentary bikes, the cozy front porch with rocking chairs, the refillable glass water bottles, complimentary drinks and snacks, and the delicious continental breakfast. The hotel’s commitment to sustainability was also a nice touch. Unfortunately, cleanliness and comfort fell short of expectations. Our room had visible dust, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, hair in a dresser drawer, and the stairways were noticeably dirty. The bathroom was also quite small and lacked a makeup/magnifying mirror, which is something I expect at nearly $1,000 per night. When I asked the manager about a makeup mirror, I was told to buy one at the pharmacy down the street, which happened to be closed on Sunday. A more thoughtful response, such as offering to provide one the next day, would have made a much better impression.
“Hidden Gem and soooo convenient”
+such a hidden gem inside....great lobby and place to hang out in the back. Nice clean and bright rooms. We would book this again for our next visit to Nantucket
