+We love 17 John. Excellent front office staff. Excellent location. We love being here. Just the rooms are under a lot of wear and tear. Needs to be maintained better. But on all other counts 10/10

“Good location, great space.”
+Great central location in the financial district. Spacious room, reasonably well equipped, tidy, and comfortable.
−It’s on a busy street with a couple of homeless people camped out nearby. They’re not aggressive, but detracts from the area.

“It’s a scam”
−It’s a scam!! We booked a more expensive room to have a separate bedroom. When we arrived we were put in a different room that was more than 200$ cheaper at the time of booking. After trying to dismiss us by saying that we pretty much got the same amenities (2 beds), they agreed to refund us the difference in price because the room we had booked was not available. It’s been a week and they still have not given us a refund. They also stopped replying to our emails.

+Excellent value for money. Nice option for family with two teenagers. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Many good breakfast and other food options nedarvet. Great gym and guest lounge.
−Room needs to be updated/fixed. E.g., noisy aircondition unit could not be turned off from wall panel, maintenance could not fix but showed us how to remove front panel and switch off on the unit, several lamps and power outlets did not work, only one hook for our towels - not ideal for four people.

“Spacious, clean and right near the subway, so easy to walk/travel wherever you need to go!”
+Very spacious for new standards, super clean, everything you need for a short or long stay, comfortable bed and big windows.
−Nothing - sometimes the lift were a little slow at peak times.

“Disappointing”
+This property used to be lovely, but the quality of the rooms and service has gone down.
−My room had a terrible smell and the shower wasn’t working properly. When I contacted the staff about this, I was told every day for over a week that the “management were looking into it”. But has not tangible response.
