+The location was good. The bed was comfortable. I liked having the two balconies, however the telephone poles etc kind of marred the view. Room 21. The bathroom and shower were very nice. Oh, and the poppy seed muffin at breakfast was delectable. I wish I had that recipe!
−We didn’t feel very welcomed. Despite texting as requested that my husband is handicapped (with a CT state hang tag), we did not get good service on our arrival. Also, telling us that because we booked thru a 3rd party, we couldn’t check in until 4pm was off putting. He needed to rest and we arrived in the lobby shortly after 3… kind of a frosty reception, I thought. Our room wasn’t ready, but then within 10 minutes it was! Frankly, the desk staff seemed like they didn’t have their communication quite together. Okay. Interesting…. We decided to go up to the Rooftop for a drink. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary. They did not have that….really?! So we ordered a glass of wine each which we felt was a very meager pour.

“Excellent boutique hotel in Camden”
+The was charming; great bathroom. Loved the rooftop bar and restaurant.
−Coffee service in the room is Kuerig -- they should upgrade to Nespresso for better coffee.

“Awesome”
+Everything! Great staff, very welcoming and helpful (esp Cody) lovely room, close proximity to bay, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was outstanding. Rooftop bar (and Ben the server) fantastic place to unwind, have a cocktail, small plates and gaze at the bay.
−Nothing to complain about

“A Jewel in Camden”
+A 10 all the way around. Greeted by Cody who was very helpful and kind. Stayed in Room 3. Lovely with balcony where we could view the bay. Quiet at night. Fireplace was added touch but we didn’t need in June. Great shower in bathroom. Amenities were perfect. Location was in the heart of everything. Penobscot Bay a few steps away. Rooftop bar was great. Hats off to Ben who remembered our drinks on second night! Breakfast was delicious. Absolutely would stay again. What a jewel!

“Ok but not wonderful”
+Great location. Fabulous view. Bathroom wonderful. But overall hotel did not meet our expectations for a luxery hotel. Room surface clean but lacking detail clean. Rugs and floor need a good cleaning, crumbs in nooks and crannies in tables and between cushions, and can be seen on floor under furniture. Staff cordial but not overly welcoming. Continental breakfast just ok nothing special.

“The hotel is great! Booking.com is awful. Will never do business with them again!!”
+I thought it was good, just enough variety of food
−Booking.com has over charged us. The hotel was great but booking.com is awful. Will never use them again. I want my money back from them that they took from me that was not authorized.
