“I'm glad I will never have to go back to Topeka”
+The room and area were nice and met expectations
−Billing contracts through 3rd party booking. I somehow ended up with a cancelled reservation that was charged as a no show. The hotel staff told me that the booking agency had to fix it and the booking agency told me the hotel needed to. It seems like a scam because double charging should be an easy mistake to correct, but the legal set up is so convoluted you are basically stuck with the double charge. There should be someone with common sense and the ability to fix a mistake to be available to speak with and correct it. Instead the staff at the hotel only sent me one of the of the receipts even though I requested both and basically said not our problem. It seems like how to get our money is way more important than customer service anymore.

“Really great”
+Breakfast was excellent...the room was very nice. Loved the TV service they use. I dont know what you call it but it is the type that has some streaming services like Netflix that if you have them you just log in
−The pet price was higher than most

+The beds and pillows were excellent! The breakfast had an omelette that was delicious. Most places don’t have omelettes.
−The TV service was horrible. Everything kept freezing up on regular TV.

“We did not receive the value for what we paid due to poor condition of the building. I feel we deser”
+Breakfast was good and staff friendly.
−The chairs in the breakfast area were worn out and torn and the tables and floor needed to be cleaned. The toilet seat in our room was loose, the ceiling above the HVAC was water stained and needed painting and the handle on the shower door needed to be fixed.
