8.0“We will definitely be coming back.”
+The location and proximity to the beach and town was ideal. The rooms were comfortable but could potentially do with a wardrobe although I understand the limitations due to space. The kitchen had everything we needed. One suggestion would be to have a welcome hamper with bread alongside the milk and tea etc that was already provided.
−We found the towels a bit small and this is only a small thing but there were a few cobwebs but it didn't affect our stay.

5.0“A REASONABLY PLEASANT STAY WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN MADE A LOT BETTER AT VERY LITTLE COST”
+Lose to town centre.Helpful neighbours,Quiet area.
−Kichen a little tired. Lacked simple things ie CHOPING BOARDS/BREADDOARD,WASHING UP ITEMS egPAN SCOURERS/CLOTHS PLACE MATS,TEA POT,CAFETIERE. MAINLY SAMALL ITEMS WHICH COULD HAVE MADE THE KICHEN MORE USER FRIENDLY. ONLY 1 PART USED TOILET ROLL.A LINGERING 'DOG' SMELL.

6.0“Beautiful Amble!”
+This is a house of 2 halves. On a positive note, it’s much more spacious than it looks from the outside. It’s in an ideal location for exploring and has the bonus of an allocated parking space and a secure back area for the dog (not ideal for sitting out in though). It was very quiet when we were there and the neighbours in the street were pleasant. The towels and bed linen were of good quality and smelt lovely and fresh. It was also clean throughout.
−On the negative side, the kitchen is past its best, the toilet seat was loose and the bathroom window was locked on the latch and we were not able to shut it fully during our stay (maybe there’s a knack to it but we didn’t want to risk breaking it). The front seating area was very overgrown and so unusable when we were there but I believe that it was due a visit from the gardener following our stay (win some / lose some). I understand that this is an old cottage but there was an overwhelming smell of damp in the 2 rooms downstairs which was most unpleasant. We used it as a base only and it was perfectly adequate for this but I really don’t understand all of the 5* reviews.

10.0“Lovely property in great location”
+We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Windsor Cottage. It was welcoming and had everything we needed for a stress free break. The beds were comfortable and was a selection of pillows.
−There was nothing that could have been any better. Thank you Laura for a lovely holiday home

8.0“Pleasant stay in a bustling wee town”
+Good location, warm and comfortable. Relatively easy to park out with the difficult property space at rear. Good selection of pubs and restaurants nearby and plenty of sightseeing to be had.
−Both main doors still need attention as does the almost intelligible CH control. It should be stated that the bunk beds are suitable for children only, rather than perhaps leaving it to assumption. Curtains on the bedrooms would be a welcome addition.

−Broken window in bathroom made it a bit cold.
