“Quite expensive and in need of TLC”
+Nice bathroom and main bedroom, good sized garden, kitchen well stocked for self catering
−Quite run down, lots of maintenance needed, windows wouldnt open so quite musty smell in the house, bathroom fan always on, cupboard doors didnt open, panels fallen off meters in kitchen, painting not finished on walls- didnt feel ready for guests.

“A lovely holiday home”
+A really lovely house. Very comfortable, clean and straightforward to get to and check in. Good shower, lovely big garden, enough in the kitchen to cook with. Would happily stay again.
−Very steep stairs (which was no problem for us but could be for others) and the front door required a big slam but really not a huge deal.

“A lovely characteristic home in a quieter location surrounded by nature and close to beaches”
+Lovely quieter location that's not too far of a drive to the beaches if you don't want somewhere central and busy. The beds were very comfortable. The house has a well equipped kitchen which made cooking and baking a breeze, and the option of a standalone bathtub and an added separate walk-in shower was a nice bonus. The garden had deers visiting!
−The washing machine is fitted in a way which makes it impossible to easily use. The fitted cabinets to open the fridge/freezer is a bit tight. The steep staircase may be off-putting for some. The garden is not fully enclosed (good to know for families with younger children). As this is an older home with the garden overlooking a field, there are a lot of spiders etc.

“Good property in generally quiet spot, excellent for Poole and Bournemouth areas.”
+Key safe, nice and easy
−Freezer drawer and pans in kitchen, and the oven were not clean. Only one mirror in the whole property, No teapot. Water pressure in kitchen poor. Leaking tap in bathroom. Description of bedding arrangements in smaller bedroom is unclear. Builders noise at nearby new housing development from 7.20am most days.

“Cosy, clean and good value for money - some easy improvements that would make this plac even better!”
+The property had plenty of space, lots of parking and was in a great location - easy to access local amenities, transport links etc. The bedrooms were spacious and the property was clean. Nice to have a large garden too.
−There are areas of the property that could do with some attention, no blind in the lounge meant no privacy in the dark evenings, the blinds in lots of the rooms were very flimsy/broken. When we arrived the heating had been set to 14c and so it was quite chilly for our 1 year old. The garage is falling down (roof caving in) which made us a little hesitant to let our little one freely explore outside. Finally, the kitchen equipment was very worn (e.g. pans with non-stick scraped off, broken knives etc)

“Fantastic from start to finish”
+Our host was very kind and allowed us to check in early after a long flight. The property is better than we expected and we felt at home immediately. We will definitely try and book this property whenever we stay in the area.
