10.0“Lovely holiday home in a fabulous location”
+Lovely stylish house, very clean and well equipped. Homemade cake, biscuits, apple juice and other things for us when we arrived. Great location for visiting the coast and other places. Friendly village pub within walking distance. The food at the pubs at St Kew and St Tudy is also very good.
−Just a few niggles. The parking space at the side of the house is very narrow and awkward. Only really suitable for a small car. We parked on the road in various places making sure to avoid the adjoining house. There isn’t a downstairs toilet and the stairs are very steep. A non starter for anyone with disability issues. The rope hand rail looks very nice but something more secure for less able people such as my husband who was recovering from a hip replacement. The instructions for recycling could be clearer. Didn’t know where to put the glass bottles.

10.0“I would book Wheelwright House again without a moment's hesitation.”
+I've stayed in quite a few Cornish cottages over the years, but Wheelwright House is by far the most appealing. It was beautifully decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean, exceedingly well-equipped, and a complete delight to spend time in.
−This is such a tiny, tiny thing that I have debated whether to even mention it. I was in a small car, which fitted perfectly in the off road parking by the house. If you have a large car, you would need to park on the road outside. That said, there was always a space directly outside the house so it would not have been a problem.

9.0“Delightful cottage sympathetically modernised in a great location”
+Stylish and comfortable accommodation lots of lovely little touches. Very well equipped.
−Mattresses didn’t suit everyone but that’s often the case! Clearer info about what rubbish can be recycled and whether it should be separated.

9.0“Lovingly curated cottage provided the perfect backdrop to our holiday.”
+Wheelwright House is a perfectly lovely place to stay. Such a beautifully curated home. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The one rainy morning we had, we spent happily reading and relaxing in the warmth of the AGA.
−The only tricky part of our stay was the parking. The parking space was too small for us to use. I’d recommend using the alternate parking available behind the village shop if you have a family sized car.

8.0“A lovely olde worlde cottage with loads of character”
+A lovely location in a quiet village
−Sadly the shower developed a fault and was u/s. The alternative shower facility in the main bathroon was adequate but not the best. The host was mortified and apologetic, but couldnt practically do much whilst we were staying there.
