+Fantastic, modern, well appointed apartment. In great condition, very clean, comfortable with everything that you need. Lovely, helpful, friendly hosts. Very comfortable stay in a great location. Easy walk or ride to cafes, restaurants and sight seeing.

“Very nice apartment in fantastic rural location on banks of the Danube. Superb if you are intetested in Austrian wine.”
+Located in beautiful countryside with rich and fascinating history of wine production. Apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The host helped us deal with the oppressive heat by supplying cooling fans.
−There was no washing machine or microwave as listed, but that did not bother us.

+De gastvrijheid en behulpzaamheid van de eigenaren. Ze hebben hun eigen wijnen die erg goed zijn. Het appartement is groot en van alle gemakken voorzien en in ons geval een mooi uitzicht op de Donau.

“Wachau 2026”
+Excellent, modern accommodation with very kind and helpful owners. The apartment, located in a separate building next to the owners’ house, is clean and very spacious, with a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining table and an adjoining living room, a separate bedroom, a large bathroom, and a separate toilet. Parking is available directly in front of the property in a public car park, and bicycles can be safely stored in a lockable shed in the courtyard. The location is ideal , right at the intersection of several cycle paths and directly on the banks of the Danube. The historic town of Dürnstein is just a few minutes’ walk away. The Wachaubahn railway has a stop nearby, and vineyards surround the property in every direction. The owners also produce very good wine and are happy to offer a tasting or share useful tips about nearby restaurants, shops, and other places worth visiting. They are genuinely friendly and hospitable. This is exactly the kind of accommodation where everything simply works , and one we would definitely love to return to. +Prostoren, moderen apartma z vsem kar potrebujete. Ob Donavi in ob kolesarski poti. Enostavno parkiranje. Shramba za kolesa. Ker sva doma v mirnem okolišu, sva malo slabše spala zaradi hrupa s ceste v bližini. (Zaradi vročine sva morala imeti odprta okna.) Kljub odsotnosti klime, se stanovanje ponoči ohladi.
−Za najin okus nekoliko prevelike blazine.

“Comfortable accommodation with parking and friendly hosts.”
+Fully equipped accommodation, spacious rooms, kitchen and bathroom. A short walk through the vineyards to the historic part of Durnstein. Very friendly hosts. Safe parking space in front of the house.
−It is not located directly in old Durnstein, but it is a quiet place to relax.
