“Excellent stay”
+Stayed for one night, excellent location, quiet in the countryside but very near Norwich centre. Homely atmosphere. Accommodating owner. Thank you for the breakfast!
“Great little find!”
+Great view, intriguing. Reakfastbwhich worked really well. Great comms from the host who wasn’t available when I arrived. Great view over the back field watching the harvest come in! Tip - reverse into the parking space it’s fairly tricky to reverse out onto the road depending on time of day.
“Breakfast, location and value but a broken bed!”
+We liked the location, it was new to the relatives of the previous owners so a few teething troubles, no phones working etc to contact but I found an old number on a review and the previous owner contacted her son/daughter who now owns it. Arrived late in the dark, couldn't park but in daylight found parking overflow on the other road (on a crossroads). The house was charming, complete with grapevines and outdoor terrace. The secure doorbell cam entrance was good, microwave and extra bits in the communal entrance hall with rooms keypad entry leading off. The rooms are compact but well planned and didn't feel too crammed for two adults, a teenager and our dog. The bed (double) was broken on one side, it was 9pm and we didn't see where the owners stayed on site (if they did), nobody around early as we left so we didn't get to tell them. The breakfast in the room was excellent, they are certainly very well planned and catered for all. The bed was annoying it sagged to one side and made a lot of squeaking but we were very tired after 8 hours driving. If they changed the bed, we'd be back in a heartbeat with relatives as we've moved a couple of miles from the Wayside and need somewhere f
+Great place for a short stop over. Everything you need
+Very nice, friendly and clean B&B with a good range of breakfast items in my room including a toaster.
+The hosts had thought of everything and the little touches made it more special.

8.0+Great place to use as a base for the Norfolk Broads. Breakfast if you are looking for cereal, bread, croissants, tea, coffee, juice, ham, cheese, grapes etc. perfect for us. A fan would have been great as the room is small and got hot quickly
“Lovely spot”
+Lovely peaceful location and the view from the window is beautiful. Had to drive to get dinner as the pub opposite had a very long wait and were not welcoming. The staff at Wayside were lovely, friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was delicious - more than enough for us! The bed is very soft, a bit too soft for my preference but that’s nothing against them. The room itself is clean, tidy and perfect for what we needed
