“A nice stay at VImar House but so easily could’ve been better”
+It was clean and provided a well located base from which to explore Bari for a few days. The bed was comfortable.
−The aircon unit didn’t seem to work, which wouldn’t have mattered but the road nearby is very noisy all night and we couldn’t leave the windows open. Shower didn’t seem to have hot water after the second day. They only left two capsules for the coffee machine for two people for a 4 night stay. They ideally need to leave one per person per night stay.

+The accommodation is clean and comfortable. We were unlucky that the electricity went out due to bad weather. The host immediately tried to help us and was very attentive. We would definitely come back if we visit Bari again.

“not worth for the amount paid”
+Clean apartment, we were given 2 capsule for coffee machine and water available in the fridge, there is a free parking available near if you are lucky enough and pacient.
−The room smells very bad(smell coming from bathroom), the area is very noisy and we couldn’t sleep with the window open, the shower is very small and the noise from the toilet tank refuel. quite far from the city centre around 30 min walk, not worth for the amount paid for 1 night 70€

+It is close to Bari central with a bus ride or 25 minutes walk. I didn't like the neighborhood, a condominium area but it was safe. And considering the amount we paid it was reasonable. There is a TV, mini fridge, coffee machine and exactly 2 capsules for 1 night stay. There is a spare bed which we didn't need of course but could be handy for families. There is also free parking in the street which was a bonus point.
−The owner. They wanted us to check-in at 5 pm and check-out at 8am in the morning from the first message he sent us. When I objected to the check-out time which is crazy early in the morning (!) (we were with car and could show some flexibility about check-in) he arguably defensed himself that they didn't expect this reservation that day and there will be a family with disabilities who will stay the day after and they arranged an early check-in to 9 am in the morning. But this is not acceptable and very stressful to discuss at a vacation. When I said that they shouldn't have confirmed our request in the first place and asked them to cancel confirmation, that I will report this to booking.com and asked for a full refund, the narration changed immediately and the check-out time was back to normal. They are not professionals but should be at least reasonable and honest. The flush in the bathroom... You need to wait for it to refill for a good 5 minutes. This stay wouldn't be my first choice, if necessarily strict with budget or last minute arrangements.

“Nice to stay for one night.”
+It was very clean and the owner was happy to help. We got towels and a set of free cosmetics.
−It was located far from the center of Bari and during night there was a lot of noise from neighboring apartments.
