+Fantastic location right in the palace. You couldn’t get any more convenient. Also, very unique since it is built right into the palace walls!
−It was not a problem for the five of us, but don’t expect large rooms or a large common space.

+Location: It is conveniently located within the Old Town. While parking can be challenging in the area, the hosts offer paid parking at a fixed daily rate, including a shuttle service to and from the parking area. Just make sure to reserve it in advance as spaces are limited. The Apartment: The place was very clean and had everything we needed and more. There are three rooms, one on each floor, which worked well for our family of four. The bathrooms are small, similar to those you’d find in a pod-style accommodation, but this wasn’t an issue for my children. My husband and I stayed on the 3rd floor, which had a more spacious shower. There is no elevator, so this is something to keep in mind for guests with knee or mobility issues. Exceptional Hospitality: What I loved most was how welcomed we felt. The hosts truly went above and beyond! Since my husband was celebrating his 50th birthday, they surprised him with a delicious cake, a bottle of Cava, party hats, and decorations. It was such a thoughtful gesture and allowed us to celebrate right in the apartment. They were also incredibly helpful and responsive. I accidentally left my selfie stick behind when we were already in Trogir.
−There is no elevator so this is something to keep in mind for guests with knee or mobility issues. For us, it wasn’t really an issue.

+Location (but be aware there is a bar and a restaurant very close to the property which may get noisy). Served our purpose of a night stopover. Not sure the property would be adequate for many days if looking for a communal area as that is small.
−Showers are small wet rooms which means the toilet also gets wet; top bedroom has a sloped ceiling where low level vibrations and a hum could be felt/heard which we guessed may have come from a roof fixed ac unit.

−There are a lot of stairs. It is obviously a function of the location and type of property. But it could be made clearer just how many steps are involved getting between bedrooms.

“Very noisy at night”
+The location is amazing, in the walls of the Split old town. A really special spot to stay, but...
−All rooms are very small, including the living side. I guess that's to be expected from the location but I have to say it took us by surprise. The neighbouring bar is very loud, and stays open until after midnight. Rooms not well soundproofed so you can hear everything that's going on downstairs. Air con in the top floors makes inconsistent noises even when switched off. Please only stay here if you can cope with such noises and distractions, we had two very bad nights sleep as a result
