“Nice outdoors area but the indoors was a bit of a let down.”
+The outside area was really nice - great facilities, lots of space and the pool was a standout.
−The inside was quite dated and gives a very different feeling than in the photos. There was a big gate and “do not enter” sign leading to the basement that was next to the kitchen, which was a bit odd (although I’m sure it’s because the basement is used for storage). WiFi was very weak and you don’t get good signals so that was a bit of a frustration. The landlord’s mother who came to collect the taxes was also quite rude and while they resolved the issue we had with the baby bed quite quickly, it was not a pleasant experience. I was surprised that the property was rated at 9.2

“Amazing stay”
+The photos don't do the outside justice. It's absolutely stunning! The gardens were impeccable, clearly well maintained, and everything was clean. Antonia and her family were also very friendly and helpful. The location was also great, just a 15 mins walk into Pollença old town. My grandma was able to do this walk comfortably.
−The single beds were so uncomfortable...maybe ok for kids but as an adult party we struggled. The pillows we were given were also very lumpy. The hosts kindly brought us additional bedding as we were cold the first night which we then used to lay on top of the mattress. The villa is a 9/10, by investing in some better mattresses and bedding it could be 10/10 easily.

“Relaxing, idyllic and went too quickly”
+Beautiful property with lovely hosts. We managed to get in early and hitch was lovely to make the most of our first day. We also had a change of plans in that my in laws joined us for a few days and it wasn’t a bother. It was a 15 minute walk from town but we liked that as the location felt so remote but not very far from the bars and restaurants of Pollenca.
−Not a great deal. The dishwasher wasn’t very good but that may have been the reason after. Also there was no salt and pepper in the house. Apart from that it was fabulous and we book again in future. The area is fabulous

+We had an amazing stay at Villa Can Sol. The family were lovely when checking in and making sure everything was ok. The villa was so clean, the beds were comfortable and the pool magical. The location was perfect just a short walk into town. We will definitely stay here again

+Location was OK Pool was good to have after cycling.
−New Bed linens would make a big difference. Kitchen space is very small & dark with poor facilities. ... so we didn't use them & we just went out every night. I accept it is an older house, but there was a bad musty smell in the bedrooms.

“On the whole we were delighted with location and facilities of this rustic villa”
+We loved the good sized pool, large villa, rustic feel, air conditioning and ceiling fans, 15min walk to beautiful town, easy communication with host, wall lizards, parking
−Non-English TV channels (though having no TV for week was good for family time), lack of shade around pool (parasols but lack of bases) - but lots of other areas on opposite side of house and cool inside. Shower could be more powerful (though understandable in historic building). Having to find tax (euros in cash) for staying in Spain without advance notice. I'm sure other travellers know (and it may well be in terms & conditions) but it would be helpful to know ahead of a visit on morning after arrival that we would be required to hand over 60+ euros. A WhatsApp informing of this would work.
