“Spacious, spotless penthouse in an excellent location”
+We had a fantastic stay at this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom penthouse at Via Tendenza Condos and found it to be an excellent choice for our group of 7 adults and 1 child. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, which made a great first impression. The beds were comfortable, with good-quality sheets, and there were extra blankets available for the colder nights when we had the air conditioning running. All of the bedrooms and the main living area were air conditioned, which was particularly appreciated in the Playa del Carmen heat. The three bathrooms worked very well for a group of eight. One of the showers had slightly lower water pressure than the others, but this was not a significant issue and, considering it is an apartment within a larger building, it was completely understandable and perfectly usable. The apartment itself was spacious and there were enough beds across all the bedrooms to comfortably accommodate everyone. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area gave us plenty of room to relax and spend time together without feeling cramped. The kitchen was particularly well equipped for a holiday apartment. “not comfortable as I expected”

−Wifi does not work in rooms, kitchen window has no curtain for privacy. Bathroom shower needs door because water spills onto the floor by toilet

+Great 10-night stay, very convenient base to explore on foot from, but we also felt relaxed in the amazing garden and lovely pool when staying in, traffic noise didn't distract. Apartment was comfortable, good beds and the layout and space was just right for our family. We used the kitchen, drying rack, bedroom cupboards to the max. Lots of towels provided. All processes went smoothly and we felt safe.
−Hooks or storage options in the entrance area of the apartment would have been appreciated. Concierge was lovely and very responsive but we found better value tour options elsewhere so make sure you price-compare.

+Great location, just 2 min walk to La Quinta, on well lit street. The area felt very safe and we had a security guard at the gate of the condo building. The condo was way bigger than I imagined and we even had 2 bathrooms, which was perfect. The host met us as we arrived and showed us everything and was lovely. The pool area was gorgeous. It is also a 2 minutes walk from the "ADO Alternate" bus terminal (which have buses to Cancun and Tulum and other places, you just need to select the right terminal when booking your ticket). I would stay there again!
