+A very nice place to stay between La Spezia and Lerici. Fully equipped kitchen, functional bathroom and large and comfy bed. Clear instructions of how to collect the keys. Very responsive and caring host (albeit remotely). Everything worked well. Flexible check-out.
−The instruction should contain also a legend which apartment out of several is actually rented. Note that the bar nearby does not sell local bus tickets, so buy ahead if you rely on bus traffic. The local seaside is industrial, so you have to take bus for visiting beaches.

“True genus loci”
+121!! This is the number of stairs you have to climb before you get to the apartment door from the parking.. But it is worth it - as they get you to the place situated in a pictoresque old part of the city. You get right into the heart of the local neighbourhood - you can see a little messy but cute backyards full of blooming flowers, cats and elderly Italian ladies of the window. You can hear rooster's morning greetings and a few minutes later a magnificent sound of church bells inviting people to the church for the service. You can smell wonderful Italian sauces, cooked by grandmas, on the corridor. We loved this extra value we got - way better than at a hotel accommodation. The place itself was very clean, well equipped with kitchen utensils + some extra bonuses like cold water in the fridge (very appreciated), coffee, biscuits, toasts, pasta or ready made sauce for the first night. Unfortunately there was no oven. On the other hand there was a large choice of beach equippment which was really helpful.
−The host cannot speak English very well, I'm afraid. We didn't get any driving instructions beforehead and both the navigation and Google maps are useless as the address is not accessible directly from the road (we got emails with perfect directions, detailed descriptions and a map for other accomodations during our road trip a few weeks before the arrival - so maybe some inspiration for Emanuela..?) Luckilly we were helped by extremely nice locals. The bunk bed is rather wobbly - not very safe neither for an adult (too heavy) nor for a child who can fall easily (no side barrier). And we would not recommend anybody to stay there in a high summer - as there is no air conditioning (fans only) the temperature in the bedroom reached 32 degrees at night (despite the fact the windows were covered by blinds all day long).

“Secluded oasis”
+The host was so kind and lovely! We appreciated the milk and coffee provided by the host. Though secluded and far from attractions, the place had a beautiful garden, and felt like country living with the roosters in the morning. Overall it felt very calm and secure.
−The location was far from the center ~1hr walk, but close to a bus stop. Lots of stairs to get to the apartment. The towels were tiny and thin.

+Sjajno mesto. Autobus koji pokriva ceo Zaliv Pesnika čim se siđe niz stepenice (tri minuta hoda). Odlična baza za istraživanje, a apartman se nalazi na planinarskoj ruti koja vodi u Piteli - noću obično nije bilo pretoplo, pošto se svež vazduh tada spušta sa brda do mora, potrebno je samo otvoriti prozore. Odlično mesto za plaže, planinarenje i istraživanje okoline. Apartman je bio potpuno opremljen, a gazdarica ljubazna.
−Sve je odlično - naravno, ukoliko pokušate da se uklopite i živite kao lokalci.

−Апартаменты находятся в промышленном районе, рядом непонятная военная база, под колючей проволокой. Сам район выглядит как гетто, ходить страшно. К апартаментам нет подъезда на машине, даже просто подхода нет, если вы с чемоданами то физически их не дотянете до самого здания а там еще подниматься на 3 этаж. В номере очень жарко, душно и нет кондиционера, вентилятор не справляется от слова совсем. Мы приехали, оценили невозможность добраться до апартаментов (у нас ограниченные физические возможности), написали хозяину объяснили ситуацию, запросили бесплатную отмену брони, на что хозяин повел себя отвратительно и не вернул деньги вообще. Пришлось срочно поздно вечером искать другое жилье. За что такой высокий рейтинг не понятно. Так еще и у хозяина нет никаких человеческих качеств.
