“Perfect Location. Studio needs TLC”
+Location. Very good location at the heart of Plaka, in the middle of all the tourist shops and restaurants. The Acropolis & Parthenon, museums and other sites are only a walk away.. Public transport (metro, bus) are nearby too. There are a couple of small supermarkets close by, an outdoor market and a second hand/antiques market too.
−The studio needs some TLC. Walls have damp marks/stains in several places including the bathroom and bedroom, and even shoe marks and cobwebs on the ceiling. For the cleaning fee they impose, I would expect the Studio to be in a much better state. The furniture, the interiors are very basic, no eye for details. No a bath plug, the coat hangers are the wire type, no TV. The internet doesn't work very well. It says that the device/s are connected but you can even open a web page, at least that you disconnect and reconnect to the network for every page you want to open. The A/C unit has seen better moments too, and set up at 30°C doesn't seem to be able to warm the place. Pity, because the place has potential, and just the door in front of yours (in the same building) it's another "holiday rental" and it is much beautifully presented, the furniture, the interiors, etc.

+Excellent central location in Plaka, within easy walking distance of Athens’ main attractions, restaurants and shops. The apartment was easy to find and check-in was straightforward. The host, John, was very responsive and helpful whenever I contacted him.
−The apartment is quite dated and would benefit from maintenance and updating, particularly the bathroom. There was no showerhead holder, so I had to improvise a way to hang the handheld showerhead to shower comfortably. The hot water needed to be switched on at the electrical panel 40 minutes before showering and turned off afterwards, which was inconvenient. The bedroom ceiling light was not working, and I needed to contact the host to locate other light switches. Instructions for operating the main building door when exiting would also have been helpful. Having since read other reviews mentioning similar maintenance issues, it is disappointing these concerns have not been addressed. With some relatively straightforward improvements, this could be a lovely apartment given its fantastic location.

−Não estava completamente limpo, além disso cada vez que utilizávamos a descarga da sanita a canalização fazia um barulho terrível. A cozinha podia ter uma placa ou um forno eléctrico de modo a ser possível fazer pequenas refeições.
