“Awful, left us without accommodation.”
+Nothing, could not even stay there. It seems that the property was overbooked or something like that, but the owner did not contact me at all, he had 2 days to let me know of the issue, I even sent him a message before my arrival time to confirm the time we were gonna get there, at which no reply at all.
−When we arrived at the property, and then called him, he said to me that the property was overbooked, so we essentially had no were to go, due to that issue I had to spent more unplanned money as there was no alternative accommodation. If we would have been tight on a budget, it was gonna be a long day for us. I would not risk booking with them again.

+DID NOT STAY. NO-ONE SHOULD. Booked alternative accommodation. Location great, thats all.
−A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT !!! Uneven floorboards, filthy carpets, stained lounge seating, stained dining chairs, blow fly 'buzzing around,' musty, bed: very low. Everything appears second-hand. We couldn't even bring ourselves to sit down in the accommodation. Needs upkeep ASAP. Should not be listed for accommodation. Informed booking.com

“One double bed was awful, rest of property was fine fo”
+Good location for us. Secure and although a bit worn down, it was all in good order. Spacious and very good value for money.
−The only real drawback for us was that the double bed at the front of the house had a bed that was so unbearably uncomfortable. I’m not sure there was a proper mattress even. The springs were digging into Us bin the end we had to lie the rug form the hallway onto it and lay out all of our towels to make it even bearable. But my mum suffered with some back pain afterwards. This really needs looking at. Otherwise it would have been a good review.

“I wouldn't stay here again.”
+It was close to where I needed to be.
−The carpets are grubby, the beds are uncomfy and the curtains / blinds let a lot of light in. When the people in the upstairs flat came in at 0130 the noise was very loud.

“Lovely, spacious house along a quiet road”
+A lovely, beautifully presented house, along a quiet road and very affordable. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the property was, so we were very comfortable. We will definitely stay again.
−A little tired looking in areas but we were fine with that as it was still nicely presented, clean and tidy, and priced accordingly.

“Overall was ok.”
+Easy smooth check in, all explained prior. Self service check in. Amenities where ok had everything that was needed for the stay.
−Cleanliness was ok, carpets could do with a wash. Maybe some air freshers throughout. Some extra attention to cleaning as was dust needs some care and deep clean. Was ok for the night but with attention to small details and bit of uptake ok cleaning and freshness be even more inviting:

“Desperately in need of some love & attention”
+Errrm. Tricky. - The shower was fantastic and a great TV. - Plenty of parking.
−Outside the place looks great, but it’s so sad inside. Very, very unloved. This accommodation is desperately in need of a lick of paint across the woodwork. Just a few of many observations; - Some of the doors don’t fit. The door between the kitchen and lounge is just bizarre - Kitchen is very dated. There was an old Chinese take away inside the microwave and the glasses in cupboard were dirty. The floor was sticky and there is no tea-towel, even though this has been mentioned previously in reviews .. c’mon guys, it’s only a pound to get a tea-towel. - Dirty cupboards and filthy woodwork - Child high chair had mould on it. Luckily there was some anti-bacterial spray to use - The back door doesn’t open - the heating only comes on at a certain time meaning that it’s very cold at other times - Filthy old sock on sofa - Overly stained carpets - Uncomfortable beds mean for sleepless nights - No instructions of how to use anything or details about the local area I know this place is at the lower end of cost but it’s not the cheapest, it could really be a nice place if just a couple of hours was spent painting the wood work and fixing a few things. As it is, this property gives the feel o
