“Beautiful little home from home tucked away out of sight.”
+I stayed here for 52 nights. For the price this stay was brilliant value, it had a living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, two bedrooms, and a little terrace! Wifi was strong and connection reached all parts of the house. Nice quiet location, easily accessible to bigger towns. Loved the hosts, they were incredibly responsive and clearly cared about their property and the people staying in it. The bathroom was beautiful, and probably one of the best showers I've had staying in hotels and other accommodations. I liked the fact that the kitchen was equipped with cooking utensils and a fridge, which made doing a weekly food shop easy. The fridge has a small single shelf ice box as a freezer, but I still managed to fit several meals in it without issue. It really feels like a little home from home.
−The parking was a little hit and miss as it is terrace housing down the street. If you don't mind parking in adjacent streets or down the street then you won't have an issue. I managed to park in front of the house on the road close to the fence, but checked with next door first as it is right outside their living room window and I felt bad without asking. I stayed here for a university work placement heading towards Oswestry each day, and learned the traffic can be very unpredictable. As long as you account for this in your travel time you are fine however, and the hosts were very open about this when I asked before booking. The only thing I didn't like about the property itself was the kitchen window overlooks a small courtyard where someone stores their bins, so I wish it had a frosted window or a small blind. But besides that, it's a perfect little property and I would highly recommend.

“Lovely property and owners, but mattresses are beyond their usable life”
+Lovely clean and well-decorated apartment in a very quiet environment, which is always pleasing. No parking directly on site, but free parking readily available nearby. Tim was very responsive to any questions and was friendly and warm. UPDATE INRESPONSE TO OWNER'S REPLY: I'm sorry if my feedback offended you, but it was just honest and included things that I thought you might like to know. We were only in the property for literally 5 minutes before going out and returned in the late evening, so we'd not have bothered you for a teapot then. No, we didn't look in the pot cupboard for a cafetiere - they'd normally be in an upper cupboard or on the workbench. As I said, the apartment was really clean and nicely decorated. I'm surprised that no one else has remarked on the mattresses, because they were seriously noisy. I slept badly, and my son in the single room did too, for the same reason. I suppose I could have given feedback privately, and in no way would I want to damage anyone's business, but I was just being honest and stand by my comments.
−Would have liked a teapot and cafetiere, and some liquid shower soap would be a welcome addition. The main problem though is that the mattresses on both beds, sadly, are incredibly uncomfortable, such that we didn't sleep well at all. The springs are extremely noisy with even the slightest movement and can be felt through the sides of the mattresses; we didn't look under the sheets, but they are either very, very old, or very cheap; these really let the property down and for £165 for the night we'd have expected to be able to sleep on comfortable beds. Sorry Tim, but I imagine you'd want to know this.

+I liked the location, I could get to my family in ruabon. The house was clean and tidy.
−Pebbles outside, having sight problems, it's not easy to walk on or getting a suitcase to and from the street.
