“Poor value for money. The best thing about the property was leaving.”
+Nothing at all
−The annex was behind another rental property who let their dog roam free, opened back doors onto my annex and parked their car directly across the only access path. The bathroom was damp with peeling paintwork. The curtains upstairs were filthy and ill fitting. The towels never dried out. The property was beyond cold and full of mosquitoes buzzing in my ear all night. I was staying down the road from friends for a little privacy but felt I was living in someone else's space. The hosts live in the main house and should have addressed this; it should not have been left to me to raise it (I didn't because I was staying alone and feared repercussions). I made sure I was up at 7am on my second night and left by 8am. Could not wait to escape this damp miserable place.

+The host didn't send a code on time. When we arrived we called them, and after they sent the message with the code
−When we arrived the other guests were parked on our space, so we needed to park far away and bring our bags while it was raining. And the message with the code hasn't been seen time

“Lovely village location.”
+A cute wee place, has everything you need for a comfortable stay off street parking for two cars otherwise we had no problem parking on the road.
−The gardens and exterior could do with some tidying and maintenance.

“Great parking spot and useful comfortable location for a short stay”
+Great parking spot behind a gate and enough space to dry laundry too. Washing machine worked well, and the space was designed well. Was smaller than I expected but it was fine for a short stay
−Little annoyances rather than didn't like, no television downstairs, the fridge door opened in the wrong direction to the kitchen. Struggled to get the shower to work for a while but did eventually get it. Really pedantic stuff if I'm honest!! The bathroom could use some paint

“Not great, not maintained and too expensive for what it is.”
+The location as it is centralised around Cambridge. We arrived an hour and half earlier, we phoned the owner who kindly allowed us to get the keys earlier.
−The entrance to the annex is in bad conditions, its like a abandoned garden, with difficulty to part if there is another car in the garden. The shower is very bad, it leak a lot. The water keep getting cold during shower and have to wait a minute or two to warm up again. The beds are not comfortable, the dining table and chair are all wobbly, almost to fall into pieces. there aren't any decent cooking equipment, although the table china is good. the light is not good at all. All together, unfortunately, it wasn't nice stay.

“I wouldn't stay here again.”
+The location was quiet and close to Cambridge.the size of the loft was okay. The kitchen counters and cupboards were fairly new and looked nice. The hosts were unresponsive and never bothered to meet us on arrival.
−The bathroom smelt like sewage and there was mold in the shower. There were cobwebs and spiders everywhere in the loft. We were four people reserving the property and they only provided towels for two people. The beds were very uncomfortable. The garden was not taken care of, over grown weeds and broken patio furniture littered the patio. None of the dishes (plates, cups, cutlery, pots and pans) were clean. We had to wash everything before using it.

+Great communication from the host. Great location with plenty of amenities close by. Good value for money. Lovely, soft bed linen and great towels! Really appreciated the fan provided in the bedroom which was very welcome due to the hot weather we had during our stay! Thank you!
−A bit disappointed we couldn't park on the private driveway as advertised, as 3 other cars already parked there both nights. It was a bit tricky unpacking the car with our two dogs and luggage etc. but we managed and parked on the road outside, which was fine as it was a nice wide road and was very quiet.
