“No hot water”
+Location is nice. The apartment not so much
−There was not hot water in the property. Had to shower in extremely cold water. The host suggested a refund to compensate for the hassle, but the refund never came, even after 2 weeks. I don’t believe there was an actual intention in giving the refund. If the situation was properly managed and the refund made, I wouldn’t review like this. I understand maintenance issues can happen, but the problem was very poorly handled.

“Terrible experience - Absolutely not worth the money!”
+Terrible experience - Absolutely not worth the money!
−I booked this apartment for 4 days, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. The level of service and the condition of the apartment were completely unacceptable. First of all, I was informed at the very last minute that there would be no hot water, meaning we couldn’t even take a proper shower during our stay. On top of that, the kitchen wasn’t working, so we couldn’t cook anything either. To make matters even worse, the apartment had a very strong smell of vinegar throughout the entire stay, which made the environment unpleasant and uncomfortable. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the apartment was not properly cleaned, and even basic necessities such as toilet paper and hand soap were missing. These are the absolute minimum requirements for any accommodation, and it is unacceptable that they were not provided. The check-in process was also terrible. I informed the host that I would arrive in an hour, but when I got there, I still had to wait another 40 minutes just to collect the keys. This shows a complete lack of organisation and respect for guests’ time. Honestly, I cannot understand how an apartment can be offered to guests i

“great location.”
+heart of Rome. great location. particularly liked the big balcony, in the June weather. value for money: all the basic facilities you’d expect for this cost. and the hosts were easy to communicate with. cannot stress enough how great the location was.
−was a bit old, but nothing to complain about in the heart of Rome.
