−There could really do with being a netter curtain over the shared glass of the door to the room as other guests do access their rooms and body shape can be made out… some washing liquid in the room for cups and glasses so you don’t have to go downstairs .. some nice glasses and a bottle opener in the room for wine .. the lights in the lounge you enter from the front door could be in a timer to make it a little more welcoming as it’s dark otherwise the windows need to be open in the stair way as it was musty when we arrived

“Going back in time! Great location. Authentic Malta Home.”
+Great location in Mdina. Christmas Market on San Pawl during our stay, a bit chaotic and noisy, but made our visit special. Virtually next door to Casa Bernard in Rabat - highly recommend if they have tours available. Mdina Gate, Domus Romana and St Pauls Catacombs easy walking distance. Location was better than expected. Ancient home - medieval construction with wooden Malta Balcony. Property takes you back in time. Has been converted to electricity but few outlets, no TV in BR, Wi Fi and keybox were a little fussy. Front door access opens with a simple electronic code, Hosts were very responsive.
−Bedroom with Maltese balcony - wonderful, but no TV or couch in BR (they are downstairs).

−Not exactly, as per the description. This was a hotel without facilities! Huge health and safety issues, that should be reported to both MTA and booking.com. it was very dangerous regarding slip/trip, head room issues and also fire regulations. Currently on sale. So be aware of future bookings, incase they are cancelled.

“Great potential, but poor presentation / comfort.”
+The house is beautiful, traditional and a lovely atmosphere.
−The bed looked great in the picture however, it was a plank of wood and a very hard mattress placed on top with a very old frame attached. When we arrived, there was no dooner and just sheets put on the bed. There was only one single couch for 2 people to share - very old, the couch leg gave way and I landed on the floor, when i msg owner they said they will get maintenance to have a look at it but never heard from anyone the whole time, so I had to sit on the bed to read, eat and sleep. No coffee table. There was a very small, very old fridge that made lots of noise and didn't turn off all day and night. that had a cloth underneath it to stop it from tilting forward when you open it, and it was placed in the corner on the floor. The double door to room was glass. When the windows were open opposite the glass entry doors you had no privacy in the room as people coming up the stairs can see directly into your room. Lights left on at night kept our room lit up and made it hard to sleep. I tried to sit in a sitting area on the bottom floor of the house to read and couldn't stay as the waste water leaking down from the pipes was attracting mosquitoes. The house smelt musty and damp. “Exceptional”
+I liked the apartment, such a gorgeous bed! I was surprised to find such a huge bathroom: there is a bathtub, a shower, and overall a big room with a window to the inner yard. It wasn't yet hot when I visited, but I think it will feel amazing in the hot summer days. And the balcony is so cozy!
−I would say the bed is enough only for 1 person, or if you are a couple who like spooning. I was alone, so it was great, but originally I planned to be with a friend. The apartment door is a glass door, so if you are not lucky with neighbors, it will be noisy - I was lucky, my neighbors were quiet.

“Gorgeous room in a lovely characterful building”
+This beautiful room was really full of character and nice features. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and had a lovely little enclosed balcony overlooking the street. We loved everything about it.
