“Being scammed”
+We got a text at 3 pm as we were waiting to go in saying it was no longer for rent, so as its still on b and b i think they got a better deal so cancelled us its just a scam I think

−The owner of the property, Mango Homes, cancelled my booking, via message, at 11pm the night before we were due to arrive, which I didn't see until we were already in Brecon the following morning. They responded to a single message, asking me to send my bank details directly to them for a refund, which I obviously refused to do for security reasons. I then requested a message on WhatsApp to exchange details and have not heard from them since. They have not been reachable on phone or message and have been ignoring all other of my attempts to get a refund. Clearly a scam operator - avoid.

+Excellent location just off the High Street in Brecon BUT our property was changed as we headed to Brecon from the Wine Cellar to a top floor apartment.
−Parking area very unsavoury. Bins overflowing. We appreciate they have no responsibility for this area but it does not mean they could not take responsibility of it. Entrance area to building - poor No internet consequently no TV. Kian / Meg offered to pay for a meal as an apology but this was not forthcoming.

“I do not recommend this place, the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in!!”

−It was very dirty, particularly the bathroom, the shower was disgusting and the shower itself unusable. The cutlery was a joke, 1 teaspoon, 2 knives & 3 forks!! There are many other things, like the parking, but I have put all this in a formal complaint to you

+What a wow factor when you walk in The outside definitely doesn't match whats inside. Super quirky. The most comfortable couch ever We have said we would definitely stay there again For us being walkers a clothes airer would of been amazing
−Bathroom wasnt very clean. Mattress super comfy, pillows not so much. You can see the wear and tear

“Lovely accom, affordable and great location”
+The place itself was lovely and the owners were fantastic with their communication. We loved the location. Had a lovely time!
−We did have someone from the flats nearby park in front of us and block us in and had to knock for them to move their car as we were in a rush to leave as had to leave earlier which was unexpected.

“How to talk women go into this accommodation it was unacceptable for the door not to be able to lock so I summon it up a”

−Cleanliness the front door would not lock and two women go in there we did not feel safe because the door wouldn’t lock the bathroom door handle fell off. The showerhead would not stay up overall it was a terrible experience and the hot water at the boiler was turned off and I did inform the gentleman the owner and on the day that we arrived and he did not get back to me, so I was very disappointed with him .

“Wasn’t as relaxing as I had planned and struggled to feel comfortable/ at ease”
+Location for an event I was in was perfect. Host was quick to come to the property to sort an issue with the door and a lovely bloke. It’s quirky and decorated nice.
−The location was also hidden at the back of shops/ town and was noisy at times which tbf you would have expected. Shower was non existent to the point I didn’t bother with another one in the morning, definitely needs updating/ sorting. No toilet roll which caught me off guard, thankfully not a number two.
