“Beautiful Guest House & Wonderful Host ✨”
+Absolutely loved my stay here , I only wish I could have stayed longer. 🤍 I booked very last minute and the owner kindly got the room ready for me so quickly. She was incredibly warm, accommodating, and thoughtful from the moment I arrived. She brought me tea, fresh fruit from the neighbour’s garden, and made me feel genuinely cared for. The guest house itself is absolutely beautiful , peaceful, cosy, spotless, and filled with such a lovely feminine touch. You can really feel the care that’s been poured into the space. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and the location couldn’t have been better , just moments from the beach. A truly gorgeous place with a beautiful owner. Thank you so much for having me. ✨

+Soraja is truly an exceptional host , one of the kindest and most attentive people we’ve met while traveling. She lives in the house with her son, but the guest room is completely separate, so you have full privacy while still feeling genuinely cared for. The accommodation is beautifully maintained, very clean, calm, and thoughtfully arranged. There’s a lovely garden area with chairs and a hammock where I loved relaxing after surfing. It feels peaceful and safe. Breakfast is included and prepared fresh every morning. She even cut fresh mango, papaya, and watermelon for me because I like to eat fruit before going surfing. For my partner, she filled a thermos with hot water every morning at 6 am so he could have his coffee exactly the way he prefers. These small details made a big difference. The value for money is incredible. You have reliable Wi-Fi, hot water, AC , everything works perfectly. The location is ideal: walking distance to restaurants and cafés, and very close to the beach and the best surf spots in Madiha. If I were to stay long-term in Madiha, this would absolutely be my choice again. We are already looking forward to coming back.

“Best guesthouse of all Sri Lanka”
+I loved everything about my stay at The Window, but mostly the amazing guest Saroja, who treated me in the most kind way possible! She cooks the best breakfast(which is plentiful and changes every day!) and is always ready to help(she even put suncream on my back where I couldn't reach to make sure I wouldn't burn myself). Her son is cute and very polite and has a talent for drawing!. The room is comfortable and has a lot of little extra, which is gonna make you feel at home: a wardrobe, a desk, and even a hanging wardrobe stick! The village is nice and quiet...there is also a great local restaurant at 5 minutes walking from The Window. I booked for 2 nights and ended up staying a week! The perfect place for a solo female traveller, super safe! Thanks again Saroja for your awesome hospitality, I wish you all the best and I hope to be able to come and visit you again 🫶

+Absolutely loved my stay at The Window!! From the moment I arrived with the most welcoming Saroja and her son until I had to unfortunately leave, I absolutely adored my stay. Perfect room that has everything you need and if you miss something, Saroja is just a phone call away. Great breakfast and overall amazing value for money. Can’t wait to be back!

“Amazing!”
+I had an amazing experience at The Window, and this is not only about the nice room, but about the lady that owns the place and her family. She was an absolute sweetheart: she waited for me even though i arrived super late in the evening and even cooked me dinner (she knew i had a looong journey and i was coming all the way from the airport straight to her place). The breakfast was super delicious and a good portion. The place is a really great value for money: really fairly priced.
−It was a bit warm at night, even with the fan, but it was also my first night in sri lanka when i was not used to the high temperatures.

+great location, near the beach. in the area there are restaurants with great food. the owner and her son are very friendly and made us feel at home. the room very clean, I really liked the decor. perfect place to relax, there is also a hammock outside. the welcome fruit cocktail stole our hearts, we tried a different breakfast every day, which were very tasty.
