3.0“A horrible experience”
−Do not come here if you want peace and quiet and privacy! Squabbling ducks and geese constantly, radio blasting out could here every word, in the garden? Woke up to a child constantly calling the ducks, continued later to three children whizzing up and down on their scooters.Stsined bed linen and loads of black hairs on pillowslips. Hamper was left, what a joke leftovers from other guests. We booked for three nights , but only stayed for one, because of the above situation.Cottage was perched on the owners driveway, no privacy or peace.Cottage was far too personalised photos of family everywhere, who wants to see granny on your bedside table every night! We went for peace and quiet, getting over a grandchild's passing, to get away from things, we told the owners, it was met with a degree of coldness, just took the money, not even an email asking if we got home safely, or maybe a goodwill gesture of a small reduction in what we had paid, considering this was complete false advertising.

10.0“Great getaway in th e Peak District”
+Phil and Amanda had thought of everything you might need. Even a toothbrush and phone charger, dog bowls, towel and poo bags. There was a lovely welcome pack including fresh eggs from their hens. No need to worry about breakfast as all catered for. Lovely position with walks to do straight from the property.
−Nothing not to like

10.0“Perfect cottage for a relaxed, dog-friendly stay”
+We loved it all - spacious, clean, cosy, well resourced, comfortable, the list goes on! Excellent communication from the owners, Amanda and Phil. The log burner had been prepared so that when we arrived late evening, it was a breeze to get a roaring fire going. There was a fabulous welcome box with fresh eggs, bread, fruit, homemade preserves (the lemon curd was amaaaazing!) and a pint of milk. The cupboards had a huge variety of pots, pans, cutlery, utensils and crockery, as well as condiments, seasonings and essentials such as tea/coffee/sugar...and cocoa too! There were also a variety of cleaning products in the utility room, as well as cloths, sponges and washing up liquid in the kitchen. The bedroom (which was downstairs leading directly to the enclosed garden) was lovely, with large, comfortable bed and ensuite with sink and loo as well....and a charger for electric toothbrushes! The main bathroom upstairs was huge - shower was great - and there were towels, flannels and toiletries in both rooms. Board games and books were available to use in The Stables, and there was a separate gym above the garage, with also dartboard and massage table (we didn't use this area). Parking ju
