“The Sorting House is a lovely place to stay & not very far to walk to the beach, supermarket & town”
+Although we had our own food it was a nice gesture to supply milk and scrummy biscuits. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Plus the bed linen was nice and clean. The house was lovely and warm (once we got the radiators working).
−We were cold on our first day/night because we couldn't get the radiators working. Clearer instructions would've been helpful in the welcome booklet ie. The boiler needs to be switched to the correct mode.

“We enjoyed our 4 days in The Sorting House but will not be returning.”
+Couldn't fault the cleanliness of the property, it was easy to access, and being able to walk to the beach was a huge bonus with two young children.
−Pillowcases that fitted the pillows would have been good. Serving spoons in the kitchen, plus a casserole, a baking sheet and non-stick frying pan - we had to go and buy our own. Also didn't like the floorboards upstairs creaking and the rattlling doors.

“Excellent facilities, great location”
+Excellent location, close to the town & beach. Really, really comfy beds. Everything was nice and clean. Tea & coffee was left in canisters for us to use & a fresh pint of milk was left in the fridge, which was thoughtful. We have a big car, so parking at the back would have been a squeeze if the house next door used their space, but there is plenty of street parking available. The post office sorting office next door is loud early in the mornings - full wheeled cages being moved along the pavements - but it is bareable and certainly wouldn't stop me from booking here again. The communication from the owner before the visit was spot on and very helpful. Overall, it is a lovely little holiday let and we had a great time. Thank you.

“Another great stay”
+This was our second stay at The Sorting House and we were not disappointed. It was lovely and clean, well maintained, with comfy beds and nice personal touches such as the biscuits and bowls for the dogs. Great communication from the owner regarding arrival/departure etc.
−There wasn't anything we didn't like, it was as described, we got exactly what we expected.

“Absolutely perfect”
+The Sorting House is well placed for all the local attractions. The house was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need. We didn't have children with us but we were impressed by the number of games available to keep them occupied. The courtyard was private and ideal for a morning cuppa or an evening glass of wine. Overall, our experience was perfect
−Maybe a food waste caddy, I caught the bin men when they were next door at the post office and they took ours.
