+Very comfortable and spacious. Well equipped kitchen, cutlery, and essentials. Good location a few minutes walk from the city gate, with plenty of shops and eating places situated locally. Air conditioning kept us cool - it was a very hot week outside! Good bathrooms
−The Wi-fi was a little bit inconsistent at times, not always smooth at streaming. The router is a fairly old model, might benefit from an upgrade

“The best we've found anywhere in our travels on the Italian mainland and the islands! Unsurpassable”
+Barbara is simply the best host ever! The apartment is so much more than the photos show, it's very spacious and has everything you could need. I've never stayed in a better stocked apartment, loads of different teas, coffee, sugars, condiments, oils vinegars etc. all of your essentials except for milk which you can pick up close by. Fantastic restaurant 2 minutes from the apartment Ostetia al Borgo, super local Tuscan food as well as the local wines 😋and all very reasonably priced, the best we found during our stay. Lovely local grocers too. I cannot recommend this apartment enough!

+Barbara has thought of everything. The place was spotless. We arrived to drop our bags early and they were in the middle of cleaning, everything even the sofa throw and cushions were being freshly replaced. It was like home from home 🏡

+The old laundry location was an easy walk to the Old Town. The place was amazing and very clean and well equipped! Parking was available on site - check-in was super easy and the host was great! Would highly recommend these accommodations!

“Lucca stay”
+Very well equipped apartment with plenty of space. Comfortable and quiet, not far from the old city, 5 min walk. Barbara was very responsive to any questions we had.
−Nothing really, it's just a little far from the train station if walking with bags but that's not an issue. Taxis are available at the station.

“Most enjoyable stay in Lucca due to The Old Laundry apartment. Amazing host.”
+The property & apartment were immaculately maintained. Beds were most comfortable with crisp sheets and warm comforters. The apartment is very tastefully decorated with modern art & antiques. Rooms are spacious. The kitchen was stocked & equipped with everything & more. The host, Barbara, answered all of our questions promptly & the onsite parking was a real bonus. The laundry facility was also another bonus when you have been traveling for many weeks. The location is a quiet street within walking distance of groceries, cafes, & the old town. The host has taken the time to give a history of the property, interesting tips, restaurant recommendations, and events in Lucca. Highly recommend this property & would want to return upon next visit to Lucca.

+The location of The Old Laundry is ideal. There are restaurants and cafes nearby. The old medieval town is a 10-minute walk away.
