“Very good”
+The house is great, so much character and nice view
−It does not have beach access, which it states. However, we knew that from the map. I also knew it wasn't as detached as it looks from reviews. The only thing we really didn't like was that the water did not work properly. One shower gave no hot water and the bath did not run hot and the other shower in like a cupboard ran hot and cold. Luckily there was only 4 of us if we was full occupancy this would have been an issue. For the price we paid we would have expected to get a shower. Also the owner knew a plumber was needed. Other than that it's a great unique place

“a lovely stay with lots of amenities and very clean”
+the property was amazing, very beautiful and clean. i would recommend this to anyone! lots of amenities and a beautiful kitchen, the beds were very comfy. the views were stunning and it was isolated.
−the owner’s communication was very poor. did not reply to any of my messages or calls, both on booking.com and SMS. the heating was not working too.

−Place was closed. The whole procedure was a waste of time. Surely a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing. The booking site was not kept up to date. Doubt whether I would use them again

−Arriving in the dark, the property took a bit of locating because property numbers on the road were not obvious.

−The property isn’t as detached as the photo suggests, with the owners property attached to the right and then another house backing directly onto it. This wasn’t an issue as we weren’t disturbed but I’d booked thinking we’d be more isolated so I could relax more and let the children have more freedom. Some instructions for the aga would have been useful and the front door was very tricky to lock and unlock so we ended up using the basement door to the kitchen/utility area. I see this is mentioned in an earlier review and I did mention to the handyman/cleaner on checkout as was a bit of a worry in case I locked myself in/out. We also felt a little hurried to leave despite check out listed as being 11, cars turned up around 9:45 and we were advised that the next guests wanted to decorate and asked what time we were planning to leave. Despite me saying we’d be gone by 10, I was still asked if I minded the cleaner/handyman going in before this to make a start. He was very friendly, I just felt they could have waited the 10 minutes, especially given as I’d said we were leaving and it was still over an hour before advertised check out. “A brilliant weekend in a lovely house.”
+Lovely house, spacious with great facilities. Pretty views. Great parking right out the front the house. Only 10 minutes from the centre of town. Great communication from both Sheri and the handyman Steve. 9 girls stayed for a hen do and felt perfectly safe…there’s already been talk of returning every year!
−The only tiny problem was the lock on the front door is a bit tricky but once you’ve worked out the nack to do it it’s okay. Also, quite a few creepy old toys and dolls but they made for some entertainment. Oh also - no locks on the bathroom doors.
