10.0“A beautiful spot, strategically placed for the New Forest. Great hosts!”
+Perfectly placed to explore the New Forest and all that it offers. Lovely walks on your doorstep so no need to drive. Clean, quiet, comfortable place with everything you need for a relaxing few days away. Next door to a lovely pub, which serves good ales and great food. Loved it so much we stayed an extra night! Clear instructions from Amanda to find it which was easy.
−Nothing, everything was great. Would recommend maybe a radio as you don’t always want to put the TV on for some background music, but that’s just our opinion, I guess most people would just enjoy the peace & quiet?

9.0“Great place great location”
+Great location , , modern decor , well equipped for cooking , great walks near the forest and close to the coast . Some great pubs nearby and a micro brewery and a vineyard

9.0“Excellent, enjoyed it very much”
−Not a dislike rather a suggestion - Could highlight for those not travelling by car that the bus stop is very nearby and that there is also a safe and scenic walking track to town thru Royden Wood via Royden Lane and the Bridle path.

10.0“Loved our stay. Perfect stay and would stay again.”
+Perfect location. Hosts were very accommodating, polite and happy to help with anything we needed.
−It was hot but this was only to be expected considering we were in August in a heat wave so by no means the hosts fault! They did supply 2 big fans in the rooms which were very much appreciated!

2.0“Disappointing”
−Very disappointing and definitely not up to expectations. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my stay at all. The flat is nice, easy to get to, and located less than a minute’s walk from a pub, which was probably the only real positive aspect of the experience. Apart from that, there were several issues that I found completely unacceptable. The cleanliness was poor: the fridge was dirty and several of the kitchen utensils had clearly not been cleaned properly. The selection of crockery and kitchen utensils was also very limited and would certainly not be sufficient for a longer stay. The biggest problem, however, was the heat. The flat was incredibly hot and, as there was no adequate way to cool it down, we had to open the windows. Unfortunately, this resulted in an unbelievable number of mosquitoes getting into the flat, and they kept us awake and bothered us throughout the entire night, making it almost impossible to sleep. I came home exhausted and covered of mosquito bites.

3.0“Overall, the property has good potential due to its size, quiet setting and location, but the cleanl”
+Great location, with three very good dining/drinks options nearby. Quiet area, which made for a peaceful stay. The property itself is a good size with plenty of space.
−There was no duvet cover on the bed, which we found unhygienic. The fitted sheet also appeared not to have been changed since the previous guests, as there were multiple head and body hairs across it. More concerningly, we both sustained numerous bites during the stay. We initially assumed these were mosquito bites, but my friend reacted particularly badly and subsequently saw a GP, who confirmed that the bites were consistent with fleas. We are now understandably concerned about the possibility of having brought them home with us. We also tried contacting the owner by both WhatsApp and email during our stay but received no response. There were a few additional comfort issues: the carbon monoxide alarm in the bedroom flashed yellow approximately every 60 seconds throughout the night, which was very distracting when trying to sleep. The sofa has also seen better days and was not particularly comfortable. Finally, the bed is quite small for two adults, especially given that the bedroom appears to have ample space for a larger one. Location could be sign posted or name of cottage provided in access instructions shared. We weren't sure if we were in the right place or invading a strang

9.0“Cute, clean, comfortable and close to everything you would want to do or need. Excellent”
+The loft is a lovely cosy stay. Amanda’s communication was amazing, she couldn’t have been more helpful. The accommodation was clean, tidy and well maintained. The decor is really nice. Brokenhurst 5 mins away, Lyndhurst and about 10 mins as was Lymmingtin. Lots of local pubs nearby walking distance and you can walk straight out into the New Forest Pretty much. Really lovely stay.
−The loft was a little difficult to find as the post code brings you to the pub ‘The Funny Inn’ which is really close to the accommodation. Just a thought maybe ask for a what 3 words code as that will give the exact location to the back gate.
