Every detail feels intentional,from the warmth of the woodfires to the magic of the outdoor bush bath under the stars. Surrounded by native bush and the sound of birdlife, we found it impossible not to slow down. It’s a creatively crafted, tranquil "home away from home" that clearly had so much love and thought poured into its design. If you need to unplug and recharge in total peace, this is the place. We’ll be back!
−Be aware that the place is off the grid which is one of the reasons we liked it. No electricity but there was some cell phone reception on 2degrees network. Not so good for vodaphone. Made us disconnect, pause and enjoy the setting. The composting toilet was a laugh only shame it was located in the bathroom.

+I liked how relaxing the place was. The location was perfect, so many birds! Was very private, cooking facilities and kitchen was great. The bath house was so lovely! Cabin was cute and comfy. I really liked how sustainable it was, lovely stay :)

+We loved the big bath. There was plenty of firewood, and as we were holidaying on a very wet cool weekend, we sat by an open fire in the outdoor shelter. We were really impressed with the bambooloo composting toilet. The bird life was lovely. Very comfy bed.

+The serenity was amazing. And the facilities were excellent for the price, and for it being an off-grid experience. Plenty of dry wood to have the outdoor fire/bbq going for every meal, and other cooking options available such as gas burner and gas bbq's. The fire in the bedroom was incredible - pumped out the heat! The indoor yet outdoor bath was beautiful, water nice and hot, and I loved the option of closing the screen for an evening bath, and having the screen open for a morning "bath in the bush".
−There was not a lot that could've been done better for this kind of experience. We've never experienced a composting toilet before so that took a bit of getting used to, and perhaps just a few more lamps in the bathroom and kitchen would've been helpful. It may be a good idea to make it super clear that there is no electricity at all, as most people would want to charge phones etc. We were okay as we had our own portable battery pack but others may not be as prepared. But we loved everything about this place, and will definitely be back!
