+Lovely apartment, close to the beach.
−Seagulls waking me up every morning. Would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

5.0“Great location, ok flat”
+Great location, very handy for shops, cafes and beach front. We had no trouble with parking as was fairly quiet in March. The flat was basic, but clean and had what we needed.
−There are lots of stairs which is tricky with luggage. Bring earplugs as the seagulls right outside the windows are relentless from 5.30am. Sofa bed is not really fit for purpose but main bed was very comfy They actually take £80 deposit from your bank, and kept for 7 days even though we only stayed for 3 nights. I understand taking card details but have never had any accommodation actually take the money. I don't understand why it was kept for so long and it could be an issue if on a budget. This would certainly stop me from booking again

4.0“Could be so lovely - but needs some love”
+The agent who deals with the property was responsive and nice when I contacted them on each day of my stay.
−I would have had a better holiday if the boiler was responsive and there was a nice shower. Other worthwhile investments- check that the kitchen is stocked for use, that all kitchen items can be used, invest in better quality sofas and mattress, and consider allowing guests to access under window space for storage. Don’t put stuff behind the bed in black bags, it’s a bit disconcerting. Try to see things from a guests point of view. Get rid of broken things or fix them. Gaffer tape isn’t a great look. There are people who can fix the tiles and regrout for you. How about attractive hooks instead of the plastic rail? And something seaside themed on the low beams instead of the warning signs? Can you get the hoover put away behind the bed, and the mop bucket on top of the boiler? This is such a sweet, fun, sunny property - it feels unloved and unappreciated.

7.0“Good”
+Lovely apartment close to centre and beach. Low ceilings, so you need to be careful if you're tall. My partner hit his head a few times!

7.0“Nice but dated.”
+I liked the apartments central location to the Yorkshire coast and the town itself with great walks just a stones throw away, with little seaside quaint shops and a sleepy atmosphere it's the perfect getaway.
−There was a few little problems such as the apartment is on the 5th floor with no lift. The ceiling was quite low and you could bang your head if you're not careful, the apartment had a hot water tank that you would have to wait for hot water, the bed for some reason had two mattresses and a topper on that made it a little hard to sit on and it was quite firm. The bathroom was ok but had no rails on the bath or near it and a marble floor which made it quite slippery. The only 1 other thing was the seagulls would wake you up in the morning as the apartment wasn't double glazed.
