“Great stay in Berlin”

−The entrance door gives a false impression of what you have booked. Incorrect check in details sent. No kettle! Could do with some leaflets on attractions in the flat, telly not tuned in.

+The location was within walking distance to touristic sites, shops, cafes and markets. For technically savvy people operating the door via an app would find it exciting, however those who prefer accessing a door with a keypad or key may find it a challenge. Shampoo, body wash and conditioner was provided. Second toilet was also a bonus. Spacious apartment.
−Small thing but worth mentioning there were no tea towel provided only paper towels to dry dishes. The building itself from the outside is being restored so be prepared to have scaffolding all-round the entry and windows. The court yard cannot be used as a sit down area.

“Worst ever.”
+Quite nice inside, and spacious. Close to U-bahn.
−We could not get in, despite following instructions on how to get keys. By 10:30 pm we had to book in somewhere else so that my 80 year-old mother could get to bed. It turns there weren't keys!! We were supposed to have an app. But when step 1 is "open the key box:" and we don't we have a code to do that, how do we know what to do? Took over an hour and a half to get a response, by which time we had to sleep somewhere else. Next morning I managed to speak to someone (not the owner), who helped us get in. That evening, getting ready for bed, we found there was no linen for the sofa bed (we had booked and confirmed for 5 people). Contacted the man, he said "look in the wardrobe". There was no wardrobe in the entire unit!!! I told him that, and my WhatsApp was blue ticked and ignored. I slept for 2 nights under a towel. Totally terrible.

“Disappointing”
+Location was good, near the U Bahn to Alexander Platz and also restaurants and shops. The flat was big with high ceilings.
−There was no hot water. The WiFi did not work. We found the box but the WiFi names and passwords did not match. A TV was provided but we could not get a signal. Although the flat was well equipped, the quality of the furnishings was not high, eg the tap in the kitchen was loose and the floor uneven. The key system with the app was not easy to follow. It took some time to get into the flat.

“Don't rent this property, stay away”

−Almost everything, broken beds and furniture, no cupboards, no mirrors in rooms, no toilet papers or dishwasher cleaning products. The view is very bad and blocked , rooms are dark with bad lighting., dingy and dangerous entrance and stairs..

“KATASTROPHE”
−Montags angereist bis Donnerstag kein STROM. Der Vermieter nur bedingt per Mail erreichbar. Und dann per Mail noch Lügen erzählen. Das im gesamten Gebäude kein Strom ist. Die anderen Bewohner konnten uns jedoch mitteilen, das sonst überall Strom war. Außer in unserer Wohnung. Über Festnetz gar nicht zu erreichen. Da er eine falsche Telefonnummer hinterlegt hat. Obwohl wir ihn gebeten haben seine richtige mitzuteilen.
