“Clean 3-bedroom accommodation but host needs better communication with guests”
+Attending a wedding at Ballymascanlon so needed an inexpensive overnight close by. This fitted the bill. 3-bedroom, very clean, all amenities needed. Even had a hot tub but as we were only overnighting after a wedding we didn’t need it. Lovely little seating area out back. Good bathroom & enough clean towels for us all.
−The prefab itself is a little jaded although beds, furniture & accessories were relatively new. Bedrooms are very small with no room to put a bedside table/shelf at either side of the doubles. Communication from host was poor. I had to call to get the access code and found out I hadn’t been emailed the welcome pack. Just as well we didn’t need the hot tub as it wasn’t set up. There was also a fusty smell in the prefab but it dissipated shortly after we opened all the doors and a few windows. We didn’t get sent details of the WiFi and the 5G/4G connection was terrible. Finally, the taxi we ordered from the hotel was ridiculously expensive for such a short journey. Maybe if we’d had a welcome pack we may have had recommended taxis to call.

“Beautiful rural area with Great hot tubs and comfy beds.”
+The property had good access to local amenities and a half hour from the fishing village of carlingford. But the hot tub was lovely to sit there and chat as it started to go dark, taking in lovely views of the cows going by in the field. Beds were extremely comfortable too.

−There was a terrible smell in the bathroom. The hot tub also smelt really foul so we didn’t use it. The cold water didn’t work in the bathroom. Very noisy, right on a very busy road and zero insulation or sound proofing. Spider webs in a lot of places. Very expensive for what it is.

−The hot tub is small, 2 people max , There was no toilet paper, hand-wash, A dish cloth or drying cloth ... No tea / coffee No bags for rubbish .

+It is an amazing place everything was perfect. We had a great girls night. Amazing location & we felt very free and didn't feel like we had to keep the noise down. The hottub was ideal. Would definitely go back.

+The location and setting was perfect the terrace area was beautiful and the hot tub was the perfect addition. The owner was so helpful and give us loads of advice and info prior to our stay and was really responsive. Perfect for a girls night away

−Probablement la pire location que nous ayons connue, et très loin de ce qui était annoncé. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons découvert un matelas mouillé recouvert d'un simple drap, une odeur nauséabonde omniprésente que six diffuseurs de parfum tentaient manifestement de masquer, ainsi qu'un niveau de propreté extrêmement préoccupant : vaisselle sale, bac à couverts sale et jacuzzi totalement inutilisable tant il était encrassé. La cuisine prétendument « bien équipée » ne permettait même pas de cuisiner correctement : une seule petite casserole et une petite poêle en Téflon dans un état déplorable, des meubles abîmés, des tiroirs sans fond, des placards encombrés d'objets inutiles et de détritus, aucun lave-vaisselle et une majorité de verres en plastique. Côté lessive, la machine à laver n'essorait pas du tout et aucun équipement n'était disponible pour faire sécher le linge, rendant la gestion du linge particulièrement compliquée durant le séjour. L'état général du logement est alarmant : présence de rouille jusque sur le porte-manteau, robinet de salle de bain mal fixé et sans arrivée d'eau froide, robinet de douche maintenu au silicone, stores défectueux, poignée de fenêtre cassée
