“Exceptional! Everything you need in Crete”
+This really is an exceptional apartment in a great area - you could stay here and not need a car at all (we hired one for a day). It’s very comfortable and huge! There are 3 double rooms and many bathrooms, an upstairs cooking area with a BBQ and a shared pool which we were usually the only people there. Everything you could need they provided - simple things that are really helpful to have like an iron, washing machine, lilos for the pool, even sun hats. The location is very good, plenty of nice restaurants, bakery, coffee shop and of course you can just walk to the beach. The area feels very safe as well.

“Lovely spacious accomodation in a great location.”
+Big and spacious. Four different outdoor spaces as well as the interior bedrooms and living room so it doesn't feel claustrophobic at all. Very short walk to the beach and the supermarket. Lovely swimming pool, large enough that you can actually have a swim if you want some peaceful exercise.
−Not much really. Ideal world it would cost less but that is about it.

“So glad we booked this”
+Modern nicely presented 3 storey property( + roof terrace) in fab location just slightly out of the main village. Only a short walk to beach/shops. Wonderful views over the valley and mountains from every balcony and also sea view from roof terrace where the stunning sunsets were best viewed from. Spacious bedrooms with comfy beds. Shared( between 4 properties only)swimming pool felt quite private and has very easy and close access from the house. Owners have tried to cover all guests requirements for their stay so there are many small extras, such as spare reading glasses, games, kitchen products,welcome drinks and more laid on.

“A great place”
+Very beautiful spacious unit,very clean ansd made with lot of details and love.We were two couples and felt very comfortable,as the rental allows everyone to have their space.Fully equippt with lots of extras.Finally we found a place with anatomic matresses.The welcome package included high qualitative wine and snacks.Excellent location,allthough only 200m from beach and stores,very quite.Well known beach of Ombros Gialos and Kalives very close.The roof terrace enjoyable,with BBQ and sunbeds partial seeview and mountain view.I think we found our base on Crete.Thumbs up.You get a lot for your money

“Wspaniała gościna, wypoczynek i relaks”
+Pierwszy raz w życiu wystawiam 10/10. Wszystko w THE BASE było idealne. Od momentu rezerwacji, po maile informacyjne, przez pomoc w znalezieniu transportu z lotniska, a w końcu czystość, lokalizację, wyposażenie. Ogromne wrażenie wywarły na mnie gifty promujące lokalne wyroby i kulturę. Ach! I przepisy na kawę umieszczone przy kawiarce - świetny pomysł. Ale najbardziej jestem wdzięczna Nati, naszej koordynatorce, za opiekę i Lilian - obecność. Samo miejsce bardzo przestronne, w cichej okolicy, ale w 7’ na piechotę wszędzie dojdziesz. Bardzo wygodne materace i poduszki. Do tego taras na dachu z pięknymi widokami na wieczór i basen na popołudniowy chill. Miejsce przyjazne dzieciom i rodzinnemu spędzaniu czasu. Łóżeczko, stoliki, zabawki, gry, piłki, ale ustawione w dyskretnym miejscu, żeby nie zagracać. Sama Almerida bardzo ładna, kameralna, pyszne jedzenie. Warto mieć auto na zwiedzanie wyspy.

+Ein wunderbarer Ort, die mit viel Sorgfalt, Fürsorge und Liebe fürs Detail eingerichtet ist. Die Einrichtung-/gegenstände sind sehr durchdacht und praktikabel und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Dazu kommt die großartige Aussicht auf die White Mountains. Von The Base ist der Strand, Geschäfte, Restaurants fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Auch für Ausflüge ein perfekter Ausgangsort. Es ist alles so schön wie auf den Fotos und noch schöner wenn man selbst vor Ort ist.
