“A beautiful self contained rural apartment in a lovely part of England. Would love to return someday.”
+This was our first stop on a six week self tour of Great Britain. It set the tone perfectly. The barn is really well appointed, carefully decorated and has everything needed for a long term stay. It is in a smaller village outside Winchester but there was an excellent small bakery / store close by that allowed us to “provision up” for our visit. Owner is helpful but discrete leaving you alone unless help is needed.

+The location was great and we loved the history of the barn which is now beautifully converted into spacious and comfortable accommodation. Our hosts were so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and sunny. I would strongly recommend the barn to travellers in the Romsey and environs area.
−Only suggestion I could make is perhaps a few welcoming basics such as some milk, tea and coffee ...and maybe a few biscuits...

+Spacious homely accommodation. Larger than it appeared in the photos. Safe off road private parking. 3 outdoor seating areas enabled us to catch the sun at all times. Super quiet location a couple of miles outside the interesting, bustling town of Romsey. Close to NT Mottisfont, nature reserves and Howard Hillier gardens

+The Barn was a wonderful place to stay in. A lovely setting with outstanding comforts and excellent hosts who were very friendly and helpful. It was a very quiet and peaceful location on the outskirts of a village. The place was very clean and tidy and we immediately felt at home. Hugo and Claire were fantastic hosts and allowed us to wander around their wonderful garden chatting about plants and flowers with a mutual interest. A better place to stay would be impossible to find. First class in every way. We were so grateful to have been able to stay in such a lovely restful location.

“A relaxing couple of days in a beautiful barn conversion in a super location.”
+Superb location, close to various places to visit, peaceful and quiet countryside . Spacious property, clean , everything you need for your stay. Great outside space to sit and enjoy the bird song. Owners are on site , respect your privacy but around should you need them. Tastefully decorated. Many local pubs , close to Romsey and surrounding areas. 5 minutes from Harold Hillier gardens , 10 mins to Mottisfont NT.
−There was nothing to dislike . If I had to find anything then the mattress was a bit soft for us but that’s just a personal preference. Plenty of spare pillows, sheets, towels.

“FANTASTIC LITTLE PLACE!”
+Hugo was very pleasant and accommodating. We arrived around 6.30pm and he met us to give us the keys. First impressions were brilliant. Immaculately clean and tidy. Fridge freezer - immaculate! Oven and hob - immaculate! There was also a dishwasher and washing machine which was also immaculate. The bathroom was pristine! Bedding and towels were spotless! Not one bit of dust anywhere! Underfloor heating in the living area and radiators else where. Property was warm on arrival. Very lovely outlook over the garden, and was lovely and quiet. Mattress was bouncy and on the soft side, which was pleasant.
−The ONLY thing I can possibly mention is that the kettle and shower looked like it had been de scaled before arrival and it left a white residue inside the kettle and over the shower head. We dont drink hot drinks so didnt use the kettle and the shower head was easily rinsed off when used.
