“It’s very hot in the summer months so ask about the air conditioners”
+Good location for walking, eating, sights
−The air conditioning was much lacking for July weather. Upon arrival, the units were not on so it was stifling and took @ least 24 hrs to somewhat cool down. I did contact the owner to which he said he will “try” to get someone out to no avail. We moved mattresses into the 2 rooms that were coolest . We did enjoy the rooftop morning & after dark. We did love the authenticity of the apartment..

−Owner is not communicative Owner doesn’t come back to SMS WhatsApp or voice calls . Owner doesn’t show any flexibility, which is a big issue. The apartment is old and has zero style… I didn’t like at all the idea that the toilet is in the kitchen and the other shower is on the terrace up on the roof .. this is outrageous and I was not aware of that… Location entrance was dirty and stink

−The structure of the bathrooms is weird. Not a goos fit for young kids. Also, the main bathroom is kind of in the kitchen without a good separation for odors.

+Very well located apartment in the center of Athens, easy to get everywhere around. The apartment is spacious and fits a group of people easily and it has everything you need. We enjoyed it very much!
−thAir conditioning was not working properly in 2 rooms. The dishwasher did not work. The upper shower is difficult to use since it is very small

“Great location with large well appointed rooms, but with very odd bathroom facilities.”
−A much clearer explanation in the listing is required, indicating that - (I) One bathroom is basically a shower room carved out of the original kitchen and separated by an opaque glass door! (II)The second bathroom (bigger and better) is up a steep narrow staircase, then you have to go outside across a roof terrace to reach it!

“Superb”
+It was just minutes from the Monastiraki Square and a short walk to the Acropolis. Loads of wonderful restaurants and cafes nearby to choose from. The apartment was well set up and very comfortable for us. We very much enjoyed our stay there and it was a perfect place for our family to meet up from different parts of the globe. Thank you for sharing your house with us!
−We had problems getting on to the wifi which didn't seem to extend throughout the house. We left it too late to ask the friendly friend for.help so went out for dinner and didn't worry about it.

“Disappointing”
+It was very interesting and decorated nicely. It was very oddly built but cute. Very clean. Good location
−It was very oddly built and shaped, although I recognize that it is old. It was very clean. Not good shelf or closet space though. We had three problems which we did not receive help or final communication from the owner on the major problems. First, the Wi-Fi does not work in the entire place. Only works in one of the rooms. Second bathroom, which is up a scary flight of stairs Was inaccessible for us as was the top roof level because we could not get the door open. And the power went out the last morning of our stay so we could not cook breakfast, make coffee, take showers or use Wi-Fi. The owners were out of town, but they should have had somebody on the ready to help. They did not respond to the last problem at all This is unacceptable and I have escalated the problem to booking.com company.

+The location, the number of beds.
−The location, I mean the street is very busy and loud. The house should be behind the corner 🙂 One of the bedrooms has no windows, the other two has window to the busy street. There were 2 bathrooms, both of them were insufficient. The main bathroom is in the kitchen, the other upstairs on the rooftop has the smallest shower cabinet I’ve ever seen.
