“Not home from home, but nice for a short break”
+The location was great, it was peaceful, but close to the area we wanted to stay in. The cottage had everything we needed and some extra nice touches like candles and firewood for the woodburner.
−The shower head could do with a descale and some instructions about what to do with the rubbish etc would be nice. There were dogs running loose which is fine, but the dog mess should be picked up, we had 2 piles outside our cottage for 5 days which is not a nice experience.

“Relaxing”
+Quiet and peaceful
−We went out for breakfast to the Piers Cafe and the first time it was lovely. Coffee was fantastic. Second time was atrocious. Coffee was horrible, my friends sausage roll was cold and when asked to heat it up one of the workers started mouthing off to the other colleague “how was it cold, it was in the oven long enough”. No manners and won’t be returning. About the cottage itself, I mentioned to the host the light in the bathroom kept flickering and then went out. He said he changed it last week and would do it again but it went off again a few hours later.

“Just perfect.”
+Absolutely one of the best stays I’ve had in a while. The people were extremely friendly, helpful and thoughtful and ensured that we had all we needed all the time - be it suggestions for a good pint of Guiness or cut wood for the fireplace. You’ve good views all around you and a cosy place to return to after your adventures in Ireland!

+Location is charming and easy to get to the Wicklow Mountains, Dublin, and even Cork if you're good with a day trip. We loved the cozy feeling, and it was so neat to see an old stone barn turned into lodging.
−The shower was a little tricky, and we sometimes had trouble getting it to stay warm or keep pressure -- but the host was very communicative and helped us quickly! Just one of the quirks of repurposing old buildings.

“Niedliche Ferienwohnung im Ruhigen mit Verbesserungsporential”
+Die Unterkunft ist sehr urig und ruhig gelegen,man ist schnell unterwegs und es ist gemütlich eingerichtet.
−Leider gab es kein vernünftiges Feuerholz,das vorhandene hat nur gequalmt. Die Silikonfuge der Dusche könnte erneuert werden (bereits schwarz stellenweise) und die Heizung war leider nur sehr sporadisch warm. In Wohnzimmer/Küche war es dadurch die meiste Zeit ziemlich frisch
