“Peaceful”
+Very peaceful location and awesome view. Beautiful relaxing space -we loved the fab design and double height ceilings. Owners were friendly and helpful and very welcoming.thankyou . We will come back.

“Do not book, definitely not worth the money!”

−When you pay a lot of money, more than a cottage or hotel then you expect it to have some standards. Well I have never ever had to leave a property as it was so bad! Bed sheets dirty and heavily stained. Pillows had hair over it. To me sheets not washed but if was you knowingly putting stains sheets on? I can deal with a lot of things but dirty bed sheets is something no one should ever had to deal with when paying to stay somewhere. Oven filthy Dirty plates and cutlery Old birthday card down side of bed It was my husband birthday had no option than to book some where else to stay and pay the extra cost! I did Message the owner letting them know we have left heard nothing from them

“Perfect getaway for a family of 4 (with teenagers)”

“A much needed rest in a beautiful place”
+Peaceful, fantastic views and fully equipped for a lovely two night stay. Being able to bring the dog was fantastic and he loved the space both inside and out! Owners were very helpful in showing us nice walks and explaining the area. Beautiful place to stay and we will be back

“Beautiful bothy under fabulous night skies”
+The views were beautiful and the bothie was cosy, comfortable and clean. Claire and Rob, the owners, were friendly and really helpful with ideas and information about local sights etc. The bed was comfy, we loved the starry wall in the shower, it matched the millions of stars in sky outside. A beautiful, relaxing place. We went to the kielder observatory and that was also a fantastic experience
−We loved our stay, next time we'll bring some comfy camping chairs to sit outside the bothy.

“Lovely location, poor cleanliness.”
+Location was great and the owner was lovely.
−It wasn’t clean on arrival, the floors were dirty and the crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils were not clean and needed to be washed before use. It was expensive for what we got.

+The cabin had a lovely view and was fine for what we needed for the weekend. The location is stunning with a beautiful night sky forever. It was lovely and cozy.
−We didn't feel it matched the description very well, the sauna was a shared affair that you had to book and pay extra for and was not inviting at all as it appeared to be a lean to on the side of a shed and was also being used by what appeared to be a stag party. Walking to the bothy along a muddy wet path with what appeared to be run off from the bothy above was not pleasant and meant our dogs and feet were mucky going into the accommodation. We arrived in the dark which didn't help when we discovered we had to park around 100m away and leave space for other people parking. The bedding was "tired" with lovely plastic sheets on the bunks. The TV was in really weird place. If it had been half the price these things would've been easier to take.

“Great place if you are into the outdoors and want an activity/exploring based trip.”
+Stunning building inside and out, heating system is genius, layout is great and works for a couple or group and the shower was really good. Location is good for surrounding interests and activities. We really enjoyed our stay.
−We found the bed uncomfortable, but it may well suit others fine. Path to the bothy was muddy/wet so we felt we were dragging mud etc inside, but tried to minimise this where we could.
