“Wonderful holiday vibe”
+Sunset Home is a gated property with an allocated parking space. The terraced apartments offer a wonderful holiday atmosphere, with a beautiful large terrace and cosy décor that provides all the comforts of home, including comfortable beds, mosquito nets, a dishwasher, washing machine, oven and microwave. The location is ideal for visiting Pompei, Capri, Positano and Amalfi, with ferries departing from Seiano quay, just a 10-minute drive from the apartment. In Seiano, we parked at the campsite car park and were allowed to keep our car keys because we parked at the far end of the car park. Simone is a very attentive host. She keeps a respectful distance but is always quick to respond via WhatsApp.
−There were, however, a few points that could be improved. The water pressure was very low. Simone explained that this was due to works on the water pipes in the town centre, but it still caused some inconvenience when showering. The low water pressure also appeared to affect the washing machine, which occasionally displayed an E02 error during a cycle. In October, the terrace was practically in the shade all day, making it rather chilly to have breakfast or dinner outside. The apartment is located in the hills, so having a car is essential. However, finding a parking space in town for dinner was challenging. The garages are privately owned, and guests are required to leave their car keys in the vehicle, which we were not comfortable doing. As a result, we had to drive around looking for street parking.

“Very comfortable stay, really nice owners. And a lovely terrace !”
+The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and clean, private and peaceful. The terrace was just great!
−While the apartment itself was in a quiet and peaceful location, the access road to town is quite dangerous. Apart from this it is quite walkable but uphill all the way, and very steep in parts!! Probably best to have a car while you're staying there. Great supermarket, and pizza restaurant within easy reach.

“Very good place to stay”
+Nothing but good words about Sunset Home in Vico Equense. Due to circumstances we arrived a bit later, but the contact with host Simona was excellent. What a beautiful location and what a beautiful view! The house is spacious, clean and equipped with all comforts. The photos correspond to reality. We spent a very comfortable week. Host Simona certainly contributed to this. She is very accessible, helpful and gives useful tips.

+Really nice apartment with a huge balcony, great for relaxing and watching the sunset. The apartment is very well supplied, everything you need. It is about a 20min walk to the train station, but it is uphill on the way home. We didn’t mind it, I thought it was worth it for the view. There is a bakery which sells fresh bread a few mins walk away.

−Whilst a lot of the property is well presented, some areas are tired and require some TLC. Worst part was that after requesting a cleaner to attend after check in, the response from the owner was to call me a liar regarding my concerns. For that reason, I can’t recommend the property to others

“Wonderful stay, highly recommended”
+Sunset home was excellent. We had a last minute check in due to unforeseen circumstances with our pre arranged accomodation. Simona was very accommodating offered to organise a car from the station up to the place, however we were already on a bus. We booked the house at 10am the day of arrival and the property was ready by 12pm which we were extremely grateful for. Simona also offered to help us organise scooter or car rental however as we weren't in peak season the public transport was fine for us. The location was excellent and easy to get to sorrento, positano or capri. The station was a 20 minute walk and supermarket's about 5 minutes. There was a pizza place (cardone) about 3 minutes walk where we got a 1 meter pizza, 4 croquettes, 1 litre of coke and a 660ml peroni for under 30 euros. We highly recommend this stay and would gladly stay again!

+Beautiful location and Simona was very kind and ready to meet our needs.Very close to supermarchet,and the center of town.Clean,and it was exactly what we saw in the pictures,very quiet and for us the perfect place to relax.....
