“Comfortable stay”
+It is very convenient to access the National Library, airport, old town, and Agenskalns Market. The check-in process was clearly explained, and I was able to enter the room without any problems. There were lockable doors at the building entrance, hallways, and the room, which was very effective as a security measure. The room facilities were excellent, the interior was comfortable, and I had a very pleasant stay. It was a little hot in the summer, but the electric fan was helpful. I was happy that the comfortable amenities such as towels and cushions were provided. Basic cooking utensils and a stove are provided, which are sufficient for simple cooking. If you plan to do more extensive cooking, please note that there is no microwave, and the refrigerator and freezer are a bit small. The street facing the apartment can be quite busy at certain times of the day. Opening the windows in the summer can be a bit noisy, but it doesn't disturb sleep at night, I think.

−The bed was very unconfortable and the staircase didn't look very welcoming (is in need of repairings).

“Nice location away from the stag parties”
+Quiet location, only a 20 minute walk or so into the Old town across the bridge. Handy for the #22 airport bus (national library stop). Apartment clean and tidy, everything we needed for a couple of nights. Sofabed was easy to use, took seconds to put together and found the bedding hidden inside.
−Entranceway a bit intimidating and run down (staircase in a poor state of repair) via a stoney yard around the back. Once inside everything is fine.
