“the level of hospitality were far below expectations.”
+Location.
−Unfortunately, our experience at Maya Studios was very disappointing. The studio was very small and had an unpleasant smell. The hot water took quite a while to heat up, and there were no basic hygiene products. Marianna told us they would be provided, but this never happened. The TV was practically useless, as it disconnected from the internet after only a few minutes. The air conditioning was also inadequate for the space: even when left running for a long time, it made almost no difference upstairs. The most disappointing part, however, was the communication. On the day of departure, Marianna did not answer the phone, reply to messages, or respond through Booking. Overall, both the conditions and the communication were far below expectations.

+Beautiful little studio right in the heart of Lakka surrounded by great restaurants and one or two minutes from the harbour, markets, coffee, and only a few minutes walk from the best nearby beach. Really well set up to stay for a few days. Great communication from the host of about the property and how to find it plus tips for the surrounding area.
−Shower head holder was broken so had to be hand held, but not too big a deal, rest of the bathroom had very modern furnishings compared to other properties

“Lovely stay!”
+Amazing location right in the middle of Lakka, charming and clean apartment with lots of handy items available for use (iron, hairdryer, magazines, kitchen utensils, etc.) Window over a restaurant was so lovely as you could hear the ambient noise when open but great noise cancelling when closed. Mirror in the bathroom had a ring light, and 2 seconds away from the waterfront with plenty of restaurants, bars, and cafes to choose fromx
−Stairs to the bed were quite steep which was fine for us but might be an issue for others. Shower had low water pressure and the hook for the shower head was broken therefore had to be held, also had to fiddle with the knob for the shower to get it to work properly, but otherwise lovely!!

“Can’t wait to return, little home in paradise”
+Amazing place to stay - perfect location close to the best restaurants (literally outside the window), beaches, walks, shops, scooter rental etc. Very clean and modern inside with everything you’d need and Marianna was a lovely host who was very helpful. Would 100% recommend.

“Beautiful, cozy, super clean and very comfortable bed!”
+The accommodation was beautiful, very well designed with great attention to detail and amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, everything was spotless clean and the bathroom was lovely. It’s located right in the center of the village, just above the shops and restaurants. Keep in mind that cars cannot enter the village, so some walking is required. Would go again and again!!!

+The studio is right in the heart of Lakka, surrounded by restaurants and shops. It's a small place but everything is very well thought in terms of design and facilities. Walking distance to the local beaches.
−There is noise from the restaurant next door. The place has triple glazed windows that isolate quite well but the roof windows let the noise in. The biggest problem is the lack of a comfortable place to sit - the sofa, which is actually a wooden bench is sooo uncomfy. Also be aware if you are a taller person, the distance from the ceiling to the bed is quite low.

+Amazing accommodation and location! Our favourite restaurant Alexandros was just at the bottom of the accom stairs. The accomodation is also so close to restaurants, Mandi’s and Nionios restaurant were also our favourite. We recommend booking restaurants. Close walk to the beach. We loved the extra beach supplies available: beach umbrella, blow up lilo and snorkel. The bathroom was spacious and it had an excellent mirror for make up. We used taxi service: +30 697 747 2747 ATV hire: +30 697 573 7829 Owner Marianna was available to be contacted at any time for assistance and provided us with a lot of recommendations during our stay in Lakka.
