−There was no internet connection and could not get the free to air TV channels to work, had a message saying 'check input source'. The TV was too high for me to check antenaes.

+The location was great, and the unit, while small, had everything we needed.
−This is the reason for the poor rating - The communication with the owner was very poor. They didn't respond to messages I sent prior to arrival. Once I arrived, they responded several hours later. The phone number I was given didn't work, and they didn't respond to my message about this and other messages. They said parking was included, but I had no knowledge of how to access until the day of arrival, because they didn't respond to messages. The parking was in a lot 10 minute walk from the unit. This was not communicated to us at any time. We discovered this when following directions to get to it.

+I really liked the space, the comfort (bed was nice) and the ease of getting in and out.
−The shower took forever to get warm, the shower screen was a bit dodgy, i couldnt open it far. - but not the end of the world.

“Just everything I needed”
+I love supporting cozy and comfortable places like this as apposed to the giant hotels. It’s full of character and charm, very central and this will be my to go to place every Melbourne visit from now on :)

“Great location, Great place and handy to public transport”
+Located in South Yara on a main tram route and was very quiet and and out of the way. Fresh flowers where in the room on my arrival and the staff where working when I arrived and where very friendly and helpful

“Much larger room than expected”
+Staff were great! Friendly and helped us when the TV was having issues. Great location. Bigger room than expected based on photos. Happy to stay here again. Everything we needed was within walking distance on chapel st.
−Wifi didn't work first couple days but staff member came and fixed it when we contacted them. Pasta shop downstairs has beautiful meals and is cheap but you can smell it first thing in the morning in the bathroom which was a bit weird. Ran out of toilet paper. No room make up and no sign for door asking for it. I understand post covid no motels really do make up rooms now but we were there 5 nights so had to buy own coffee, sugar, toilet paper etc.

“Restful and airy comfort with ingenious layout and super comfy bed and fast wifi, delightful!”
+I was amazed by the ambience and the high ceilings which made it feel spacious, and the ingenious use of space available. The bed was insanely comfortable - I slept for 12 hours the first night... Also the wifi works so well! Truly the best you can imagine for this price and size. Staff I met briefly in passing seemed lovely :) also there was a cool little laundry downstairs.
−Honestly I can’t think of anything - it being south Yarra chapel street I guess there are some locals who are leading unhappy lives but that’s a societal issue!
