“Would recommend to anyone visiting Gaios however I do think the host company should be more transparent on the issues I’”
+The apartment itself was okay - the bedroom was lovely and very well air conditioned with a beautiful balcony and view. It is only a short distance to the village of Gaois which is ideal!
−Firstly I think it should be noted on booking sites that it is quite difficult to reach this property. When we arrived at paxos port we were told by all taxi drivers that they cannot get us to the apartment (we had multiple suitcases and it was 34 degrees) but they will get us as close as possible- which they did. After hauling all of our luggage through dirt roads and hilly terrain we finally made it and were locked out for 25 minutes as the lock on the door is broken! We called the numbers on the door and text the host multiple times and nobody responded until hours later - turns out the door lock doesn’t work correctly and it takes multiple attempts fiddling with both the door and lock to get it open - we had this problem every single time we went out and returned! One of us would literally have to push the door in as hard as we could while the other fiddled with the key! It would take us 4-6 attempts each time!

“Great apartment in gorgeous spot!”
+Amazing views, comfy bed, spacious, well equipped, good wifi, good air con, close to shops, restaurants and rental places, great location for seeing the island then returning to peace and comfort. Lovely peaceful place to stay. Definitely recommend!
−Kitchen cupboards need a deep clean and the mosquito net in the bedroom was ripped with 2 big holes in it. We slept with the window open one night and got savaged my mosquitoes!
